‘Lo!  I’m a bit of a tattoo and piercing fanatic, and would love to do more “extreme” mods if it weren’t for current society’s lack of acceptance (As I do need to work…)

 

I’ve actually come to enjoy doing my own piercings. At most, I had:

0g Lobes

14g Erl (Bridge of nose)

10g Tongue

4x 14g Lower Lip (“Shark Bites”)

12g Nips

And 6… other body piercings between 4g-10g

 

Along with my left arm sleeved with a giant squid wrecking a ship in a storm, which covered up my oldest tattoos from when I was 13.  And a small cactuar and grumpy face thing on my right arm, also done when I was 13.  Those will eventually get covered up as well when I get the extra funds, haha.

I would love a wargaming division!  Unfortunately, not being anywhere nearby would firmly put me in the “Unable to attend in person” category unless we could get a large group in FL.  

 

I’ve been a long time wargamer, playing everything from The Sword and the Flame napoleonics to Dreadball to… well, “That game.”  I’m actually part of an upstart gaming company, working on our first products (Mats, specifically) while doing reviews and the like.

‘Lo all!  I’m Sinphonite, and have always been an LGBT ally, even if I didn’t always have a name for it.  I have quite a few friends and family who fall into one of the above categories, and hate how other people would view and/or treat them.  We’re all human, we all have our own preferences and natures, and no one set of them is “right” or superior.  It’d be like me telling people they are wrong for eating sweets because I  like spicy food.

Anyway, I’m specifically requesting permission to join!  I’m more than happy to help organize missions and invasions at Florida rallies and anywhere else we can make a showing.

Salute! For anyone not on the Facebook group regularly I’ve been doing some planning. I would like to start getting us out there and representing! We’ve been pretty inactive as a whole, and I’d love to put an end to that!

Starting this Sunday, I will be doing monthly Skydiving ops for anyone wanting to join. We’re doing 10,000 foot tandem jumps, in uniform, out of Punta Gorda FL.

Prices vary from 155-175.00 per person, depending on group size.

Additionally, I will be running the Savage Race in an active uniform, and would love to be able to form a team with other representing Red Tide members. It would be a good, fun show to put on for the general public! As well as an excellent fitness goal!

I’m working on planning less extreme operations and events, as well as looking into getting special medals/patches made for participants. Keep an eye here and on the FB group for more details as they appear!

I just got some printed on basic cardstock earlier today to bring cookies in to work in tomorrow.  I lightly scored the folds with an exacto knife to help them properly fold.

I stumbled across a CD a friend had made for me a few years back with a bunch of Dr Steel on it, so I brought it to work to listen to while I was cooking.  Introduced a coworker to his music, and when he asked me a few questions about it I looked the Doctor up for the first time ever.  Had no idea there was anything beyond just a few cool CD’s until then!

 

I’m kicking myself a bit for not looking into it sooner, but there’s still work to be done!

Being able to buy half of my uniform with Christmas gift cards, and my wife ordering a set of patches for me as a late Christmas gift!  Otherwise I’d have to wait until my extra paycheck next month for all of it.

 

Now I just need to locate a shirt and get a name tag made.

 ‘lo!  I’m Sinphonite, a very longstanding alias I’ve used for the last 12 years.  I was introduced to Dr Steel’s music a few years back but never really looked into him beyond the music until recently.

I’m looking forward to running missions and being an active new Toy Soldier.  I love making things, and it’s always pleasing to find new ways to brighten moods and days.
