Danov is right. As a group TSU has had a lot of ups and downs. But regardless off all of that, we are still here. The TSU chat has always been very active but recently after it transferred over to Discord and has become the main hub of activity. The site is still here, and I should pay more attention to it than I do and I intend to moving forwards.

The site is still the best method of organizing large scale events though, and a good way of sharing ideas, propaganda concepts and projects you are working on.

As long as it doesn’t become seen as either Vandalism or littering then go for it and best of luck!

Don’t deplete your cash reserves too much though. The point of TSU is fun, and there is nothing fun about being broke.

I’m really really sorry that this hasn’t worked out for you, I was routing for someone to take it up and run with it.

I’ve both run and entered a few contests on TSU with either no entrants or as me as the only entrant and it makes me sad. Creativity is the heart and soul of TSU and everyone should try to make sure they take some time out of their day to make sure they can do something creative.

This said, you may be better off starting out smaller. As you suggested something like a colouring contest or similar, then slowly work larger. If you can gain peoples interest and activity you can then get them to participate in larger and more complex works.

Another possibly reason for the lack of uptake may be how broad the possibilities of entries were. when there is so much choice and so much variety then it can seem a little daunting. Maybe sticking with one entry criteria such as “TSU related poem” may work better?

Also, your always welcome to post the link to you competition on the TSU and TSU divisional Facebook pages and on the Discord chat to help advertise and try to get more participants.

I think one of my big problems recently is I’ve become uninterested in a lot of recent releases as they seem to “online play” centered. I know its not true of all games but its kinda put me off buying stuff.

If the thread is still active in the forums and has not been archived then as far as I’m concerned its more than fair game to comment on. Though of course use some common sense when it comes to posting on topics with titles similar to “London Invasion 2014” that thread may be dead for a reason (though if it hasn’t been archived then its most likely just been overlooked)

 

 

It also look a lot of self control not to just leave this thread for several months then reply “This long”
