Air Corps Elite This division is open to aviation/aerospace aficionados. Balloonists, pilots, controllers, Air Force, Civil Air Patrol, glider pilots, ultralights, hang-gliders, kites, RC airplane hobbyists… even if you make a mean paper airplane. Since this is a Spec Ops division, practical aeronautical experience will be foremost appreciated, but we will welcome fantasy “airship pirates”, flight simmers/virtual aviators and suchlike as well: All air enthusiasts welcome! Sub-Divisions: • Wings of Steel: Fixed-wing aircraft (and helicopters) • ACME: Airship/airCraft Mechanics and Engineers, Avionics. • Airship Armada: Balloonists and other lighter-than-air craft. • SkyMarines: Airborne Military Security/Assault Force (parachutists, Rangers and other paramilitary, sky marshals, etc.) • Featherweights: Ultralights, gliders, hang gliders, kites, etc. Also includes RC and paper airplanes. • VAST: Virtual Aeronauts for STeel. All pilots of various Aerospace, Flight and Combat Sims. • FAD: Fantasy Airship Division: Airship pilots, Sky pirates, etc. • Rocketeers: Model rocketry and space enthusiasts • LEAF: Lovers and Enthusiasts of Aviation and Flight – Civil Air Patrol, AFROTC, Support Services, and basically anyone else who loves to watch planes and study aviation ORDER OF THE YELLOW SCARF Yellow Scarfs are the elite of the elite: those Toy Soldiers who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to the Air Corps Elite, in the true spirit of the corps.
