Hello everyone and Welcome to the Army of Toy Soldiers!

In this thread you can say hello and introduce yourself to us all!
If you would like, tell us a bit about yourself and where you are from. ;)

Our mission: To encourage happiness, fun, creativity and imaginative thinking in ourselves and the general masses, and not to take over the world, but to MAKE over the world into a Utopian Playland!

24/11/2011 at 12:39

I’m Sgt. 2×2. I’m the Division leader of Division #315, the Robot Monkeys

I am the type of person that likes to do creative things, be it drawing, painting, building things, sewing costumes, decorating my house, carving bone, sculpting with clay, doing puzzles, playing guitar, writing, playing with web design, etc. I love being creative!

As you can probably tell, this means I have a lot of different interests. I may not know everything about any one thing, but I know a little about a lot of things

I am also a fan of sci-fi and fantasy stuff

25/11/2011 at 18:41

Hi there. :3
Technically I’m not new, but I never really did much before and I’m trying to change that now.
Also I would like to point out that the “your” in the description of this forum should be spelt “you’re” instead. Heh.

26/11/2011 at 17:32

Hello and welcome Sgt. 2×2! Glad to have you with us!!

26/11/2011 at 19:11

Hiya! I’m Lt. Grimm, and my list of things going on around TSU is pretty extensive:
-Leader of #666 SWORD (The Metal Division)
-Co-leader of #1665 The Clockwork Zombies (The London Division)
-TSU-UK Under 18 Officer
-Forum Mod
-Chat Mod

Whilst I’m not that creative I’m stupidly organised and focused, so I like to help with the army’s administrative side as much as possible. Also organise lots of drinking around London ^_^

I’m also responsible for keeping Brigadier Davis under control.

26/11/2011 at 21:23

Hello all, I’m not ‘new’ to the army but I’m new to the new site. ;p

I’m Captain Roberta or Captain Berta!

I am a pretty independent soldier from the glorious state of South Carolina!

I do a bit of everything that I can, from spreading prop to writing like a mad woman!

26/11/2011 at 22:00

I think a new introduction is in order.

I’m, as some have said, not technically new to the site / Toy Soldier Army, however I am a new enlistee. Some may recognize me from the chat / IRC as well. My name is Sebastian Cassidy. I consider myself a transhumanist, and am working towards the knowledge on how to radically alter the present, in order to change our future into a long, and prosperous one.

In the meantime, I’m doing what I can to make this bleak world a better place.

My ultimate plan is to create a company, with many facets. One of these, will be the rapid manufacturing and automated resource collecting required for our dreams of a Utopian Playland to come to fruition. There are more, but those don’t matter at this time.

I live in the Shenandoah Valley, in the state of Virginia. If anyone wants to join me on some infiltrations, I’d be all sorts of down for that.

27/11/2011 at 02:34

I feel an obligation to make my presence known once more ;D
Lord Douglas Pennant, also known as Jog, also known as that guy with the yoyo that isn’t Monte, also known as that idiot on springs

Division leader of the soon-to-be-reinstated Division 13: Devon Cream Teas, as soon as I get around to applying for that.
I do stupid things to get laughs, seeing people smile makes my day.
I’m often found in the south-west of England, in the wonderful land of Devon, running around like a moron and generally enjoying life.
Life’s only worthwhile if it’s fun ;D

27/11/2011 at 11:08

Ello all,

I’m Lt. Loz Tronic, division leader of #2468 Brighton Behemoths and Nurse of #2063 Steel Fleet.
I do music, and arty things such as drawing and painting. Been quiet on the invasion front this year whilst turnip hit the fan, but next year TSU-UK won’t be able to get rid of me ;)

27/11/2011 at 22:31

Hi! I’m Geoff!

I’m guy in charge of the Steampunk Special Operations Division (DSTEAM) and the Lovecraftian Interest Group (HPL 1890), as well as the Seventh Mountain Regiment (Rocky Mountains). I joke sometimes that I could be the soldier with the most frequent-flyer miles, but that’s only because I’m always at someone else’s invasion, rather than hosting my own.

And when I’m not writing or hatching plans of my own, there’s propaganda. Always propaganda production and distribution.

03/12/2011 at 14:53

Salvete Socii!
(Salutations Comrades!)
I’m Neal, and I’m a Fantasy Geek with a wild imagination and a Warrior’s Spirit. It’s the Norse blood, that’s what it must be.
I joined up earlier this year, but I was prevented from viewing the website over the summer, and only now have I found a way around my computer block. I hope to find some way to participate and help the world have more fun.
Valete Socii!
(Be Strong Comrades!)

Post Scriptum- the greetings are in Latin, if that had you stumped. I had to turn this web activity into productive studying somehow. . .

04/12/2011 at 12:13

Welcome to new recruits and veterans alike.
I’m Sergeant Dutch, Co-owner of TSU and admin together with Commander Jet and Cpt. Jack. Together with Cadeon we also put together the new site.
If you’ve got any questions or issues, don’t hesitate to contact us. I’m usually found in the chatroom, though give me a few minutes to respond as I might be away from the keyboard.

04/12/2011 at 13:23

pvt morglum! leader of the kilted crusade division! come join us…we have kilts!

04/12/2011 at 22:21

Salutations to all,

I’m Lt. Gob and I’ve been kicking around the original TSU site for a few months from which some of may know me as Madeline Van Dongen. I hadn’t really been that active until the last month or so due to my focusing on completing the largely un-fun monstrosity known as VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). However I am pledging now to be more active in the TSU community and badger my friends into joining me… At least until I start University. :P

I’m very into science (and science fiction, I play a number of instruments and teach karate. In my infrequent spare time I write (songs, poetry and short stories) and exercise. So… Yeah!

15/12/2011 at 14:53

Good to have you over here in the shiny new TSU Lt. Gab, I’m sure you’ll find some way of letting your creative talents flow here.

19/12/2011 at 22:26

I just thought i’d introduce myself, being fresh meat an all that.

Hiya, i’m Lexi (Otherwise Known as Harley) I’m a bit of a fantasy geek with an crazy imagination which tends to get me into a lot of crazy awesome things, like this. I love to build things and design props and costumes. (I’m looking forward to getting started on my uniform hehe)

I look forward to getting to know you all and this community

All the best,

19/12/2011 at 23:23

Salutations all.
My name is Charlie El Baba and am a recent enough addition to the Toy Soldiers. But, being me, I like to take the initiative and have already set up the foundations for a division in Ireland and am just waiting on all members to be registered long enough. As a person, at first glance I seem really quite 80’s punk, with leather jacket, doc martin’s and a recent mohawk planted on my scalp. But as you get to know me I tend to be quite harmless, I’m a pacifist and a nerd inside and love standing out from the crowd. I also have a problem saying no to things and seem to always be involved in some project or other, even if I don’t have time.
I can’t wait to go on my first invasion and help build a Utopian Playland.

Over and out,
Trooper El Baba (Hopefully soon to be Commander Radar of #523 I.R.E.L.A.N.D.)

21/12/2011 at 14:26

Good Work trooper, we need more like you.

22/12/2011 at 00:46

I believe an introduction is neccisary~
I’m Beth and I’m a shiny new toy soldier.
I’m crazy and British and I live in Hertfordshire. I travel to London now and again because of galleries and such. I’m pretty awkward in new company, so please at least pretend to be nice~ <3 I like to say what I feel, but at the same time I hate upsetting others so you're welcome to laugh at me as you watch two sides of myself battle it out.
I’m a fan of most things sci fi, fantasy, steam punk and all the other cool things in life.
I’m easily distracted; for instance whilst trying to write this I’m also vacuming, drawing 2 things entirely un-related and making a necklace. I’m often taking on too much at once, leaving little time for sleep… However I don’t let people down, I won’t stand by to watch someone else suffer and I believe one person can change the world.

I found out about Dr Steel’s beautiful army at London MCM Expo, so don’t worry the propaganda IS working. Maybe I could join you in your next invasion, yes?

~Lady B.

22/12/2011 at 13:27

Dont worry Lady B, You will be most welcome in the TS army. Since your so near to London I would suggest joining the London Division #1665 aswell as the Nationwide division TSU-UK.
I’ve no idea what the next planned invasion is, but I can assure you that you will be welcome to it.

23/12/2011 at 01:09

Thank you Brigadier. Your welcome & help is most appriciated.
I look forward to invading the country with you!
~Lady B.

Hello all, YellowJacket CHAOS here. Creator of the Steelmas Carols, founder of the Order of the Red Beret and the Kilted Crusade’s Sept-Chief of the Western March (well for now).

Anyway thought I should join up at the New TSu before the old one fades away.

27/12/2011 at 19:47

Hi there! ^^ I am Toy Surgeon Alexa Wahnsinn. I’m not new to the Army, but I did not get involved in the community so much because I seem to be one of the only Toy Soldiers in Southern California whereas everyone else is way off East. 3:

I spend most of my time writing and listening to music (all sorts, although there is a special place in my heart for Dr. Steel and folk/viking metal to awaken the pagan fire in my blood ^^) and sometimes I dabble in graphic design and making mixtapes and that sort of thing. I am obsessed with creativity but I do not seem to be very good at it myself. ._. Either way, cheers!

31/12/2011 at 05:30

Hello everyone! I am Raine Nightingale from Southern California. Captain of Eureka: Airship Circus. Unfortunately, I became a fan of Dr. Steel after his retirement, and thus I’ve been any of his shows. :(

31/12/2011 at 15:49

Well, hi everybody!
I’m FlyZapper, otherwise known as Daniel.
I’ve been trying to retrace my tracks back to the point where I found out about the Doctor, but I honestly have no clue where I found out about him, his music and amazingness just suddenly appeared, it seems.

So, other than that, I’m a guy from Northern Jutland in Denmark, I spend a lot of my free time playing guitar, ukulele, bass or whatever instrument I can get my hands on and learn to play!
I’m also a martial artist, I teach a kids team karate in a fun and not-so-disciplined way as you might think.

I’m a brand new toy soldier, so I thought.. Why not introduce myself a bit?
So, be nice to me, or I’ll come at night and eat your cookies. 8-O

02/01/2012 at 19:07

Hello everyone!
My name is Marishka and iv’e been a proud part of the Toy Soldiers for some time now.
I’m the leader of Modified Steel here on TSU.
My hobbies and interests include: LARPing, self-defense and combat training, knife/axe/and tomahawk throwing, archery, chainmaille, tattoos, piercings, and other body mods. Honestly anything I find creative, fun, or informative really.

I can be shy at first, but I love meeting and getting to know new people. I help where and when I can. I’m a good listener, so don’t be afraid to send me a message if you need someone to talk to or a new friend. :)

04/01/2012 at 07:32

Well, like many others I have been a member for some long while now, but have for reasons many and varied, been not as involved as I would like. I am hoping this will change shortly, and a new local division can be formed here. The massive inactivity of my division was a large factor to me being so inactive.

All hail the good doctor, and onward to the utopian playland!!!

05/01/2012 at 23:35

Hey I’m R

06/01/2012 at 09:05

It looks awesome … thank you XD

10/01/2012 at 09:21

welcome new soldiers! be sure to join the 128 kilted division if you have a passion for kilts, wearing kilts or just hate gussets.

funited together!

Hello all, I am Alexander Rousseau (just call me Alex). I am from Surrey in the UK and im very fond of Biological sciences, music and art.

I am very happy I joined the Toy Soldiers

19/01/2012 at 11:31

20/01/2012 at 03:49

So, like others posted here, I’m not new, but I DID decide on a new name after moving to the shiny new site, and for some reason forgot to post here. I’m Sergeant Larks, formerly Captain Carnivore. I traded in my gas mask and hat for Nerf guns and tattoos!

I’m a member of FDC, GAME, MS, PSIOPS, The Toy Soldier Tea Party, Division #2063: Steel Fleet, and even Division #1123: Fibonacci Division of Southern California, even though I moved to Idaho.

I’m currently undergoing the process of attempting to recruit new Soldiers here in Idaho so that I might create a new Division for them and organize Invasions and Tactical Playtimes for everyone in the area!

Welcome, all you new Soldiers! I salute you!

20/01/2012 at 12:47

Hello all.

I am new to TSU and am a Musician. I joined a couple of days ago after my brother introduced me to some cool music from a Doctor Steel and was instantly hooked! I think i joined too late as i have found that the good doctor is gone :( It is a shame, but we must carry on :) I would love to hear some ideas on lyrical content for my current musical project, and would love to catch up with other members in the Western Australia region.

23/01/2012 at 04:43

Hi there!

I have actually be a soldier for about 4 years now, but I just moved to Seattle. The Portland local (which seems gone now) wasn’t very active.

However, I am working with Anthro Recon Knaves (A.R.K.)division here in Seattle to get more furries involved with Dr. Steel’s movement since furries are the type to understand and support what TSU stands for. Iam very happy to be working with the leader of ARK, and plan to help it, and TSU grow.

24/01/2012 at 05:17

Hi all,

I’m spagoso (aka Rene) i just enlisted. i was introduced to Docter steel and TSU this weekend by a friend and just had to join. i live in the south west part of the netherlands. i work as a logistics manager at a shipping company and i am a graphic designer. in my spare time I’m a musician (drummer) for over 20 years now and ride and build bicycles.

24/01/2012 at 07:36

Welcome all new (and old) recruits!
Spagoso, don’t suppose you build cargo bicycles (or tricycles) as well, do you?

24/01/2012 at 11:23

Hi, my name is Kuzco. I’m from the South-East of the Netherlands.
I infiltrated a Aerostructures company as an Engineer; During working times I try to fix problems in the production (and hug parts when nobody watches), in the weekend I do competative shooting, I ride and build bicycles and I like to bivouac.

26/01/2012 at 06:15

At ease.

A new site, so time to introduce myself again. I am Sky Marshal Jonathan Baines “Jonny B.” Goode, from Southern California. I’ve been a Toy Soldier about three and a half years now. I started the Air Corps Elite for Steel (ACES), the aviation/aerospace division, and also FOSSL, the Fellowship of Older Steel Supporters & Listeners, for the 35 and older crowd. For about a year and a half, I was acting commander of the 1123rd “Fibonacci” Division here in Southern California; after which I became one of the new division commander’s lieutenants. (Due to the economy, I’ve had to put that role on hiatus.) I’m also in charge of our annual Doo Dah parade participation.

In the “real” world, I’m a website developer (between jobs), a blues and swing musician (between bands), a lover of karaoke, and keep in shape with Tae Kwon Do and swordfighting.

26/01/2012 at 07:52

Good to be back!
New Year, new forums, new projects!
I am Jeff perryman, and I’m a 3d modeler and animator. I hope to find other like minded soilders here.
I have blown the dust off the Doctors Bot, and I hope to finish him soon. Here’s hoping! :D

26/01/2012 at 08:35

@jeffperryman I’m gonna need your help! Aim your web surfing thingamajig at and then….. STL me a robot for me to build!

30/01/2012 at 01:41

Hello everyone, I’m Psycho Jazz (but you can call me Jazz). I’m quite shy, so it’s taken me a while to get the courage to introduce myself to you all…

After listening to one of Dr. Steel’s albums just a month ago I have taken a great liking to his music. Once I discovered who the brilliant man behind the music was I had fallen in love with everything about Dr. Steel. Just because he’s retired now doesn’t mean I won’t still become a crazed fan of his :D

Now, about myself. I’m a University student fron Australia, and in my free time I generally like to play video games, listen to music, and draw and paint my own cartoon characters.

Despite being shy, I like to meet new people. So please feel free to talk with me ^_^ I look forward to being a toy soldier!

30/01/2012 at 04:11

Hello, I am Mr. William Azrael. I like to write and draw steampunk versions of castles. I study a lot of different philosophies and cultures, those that I like I will adopt somewhat. I thrive on energy drinks and cigarettes. When I’m alone I tend to be depressed but when I am around friends I can be a very enjoyable chap, at least that’s my opinion. I enjoy video games and using my imagination. At times I’m very vocal and at other times I’m a little silent and neither of which are hardly ever at the right times. I’m from Monticello, Kentucky, United States and as far as I know I’m the only Toy Soldier here. If you wish to know anymore about me please look at my profile or ask me.

31/01/2012 at 21:39

hello everybody! I am not new to the TSU, but I have never actually been active in the forums and such… that calls for a chance!!
so who am I? well.. first of all, I’m a girl at the age of 19. I enjoy drawing and everything else that has to do with being creative.
I live in Denmark, so my spelling might be a little bad, so bear with me :)
once again!! hello C’:

31/01/2012 at 21:42

Psycho Jazz: Hello everyone, I

01/02/2012 at 02:29

Hail and well met. Which is a good beginning, and a shame, because this is bound to end badly, and I nicked it shamelessly from some bloke with a neat beard. At least he had a neat beard in the pictures I have seen of him.
Anyway, I digress, as per standard operating procedure, at great length and for no readily discernible reason.

I am Tyrmorr. Just Tyrmorr.

Now, I think I am supposed to tell you all my dirty little secrets here, and well, I could do that, only that would be either too shocking as to drive every poor unfortunate reading the sorry tale to life in an institution, or so boring that nobody will ever manage to convince themselves that there must surely be something worthy of notice towards the end.

So, run on sentences aside, I will engage in the time honored tradition of making stuff up.

I am currently a 916 year old n-space extra dimensional treeoid creature living, I fail to understand why, in the GTA. Which letters will mean something to some people and nothing to others. I have spent most of my life thus far gestating inside the heart of a gas giant, growing slowly to sentience over an undetermined and likely stupendous amount of time, till finally I awoke all at once with a total understanding of the universe, myself, and my place in time, space and rice pudding.
Which on the whole was a shame, as this lead to my expulsion from my home dimension, and fetched me up occupying this flesh suit in a reality far from anywhere or any when important, worthy or worthwhile.

All of which is, of course, arrant nonsense.

So yeah, I’m Tyrmorr, I’m in the GTA and I found out about the Doc roughly in time to find out he had formally announced his retirement. Which says much about my sense of timing.

Anyone in this mysterious GTA looking to recruit a barely coherent, unintelligible jumble of stream of consciousness and id with no internal monologue please feel free to contact me. Or seek a suitable and qualified member of the medical community to see you to a secure facility where you can be properly cared for by compassionate and loving staff.

01/02/2012 at 07:46

Salutations, my new, beloved family. I am Sir Heinrich Willhelm Von Metzgermeister, or simply “Sir Metzgermeister.” Feel free to call me Cole, as well. I am a long time believer, but a new member. I intend to bring to you my skills in medicine, writing, propaganda, psyops, improvised warfare, and German baked goods in such a way that you all will come to love me as I so love you. I intend to begin very active operations as soon as possible.

17/02/2012 at 08:33

Hello all,

Not new to the army, but I’ve finally found my way back, dusted my uniform off and looking to pick back off where I left. The names Michellenore Tamagatabrint, for those of you who may remember me, going by a far different name now. I like musicals, fight clubs and all manors of fun. Nature hikes, wood carving, and singing are some of my passions. I’m trying to learn free running. I love all art and all music, and all this fun and beautiful in this world. We need more good things, Toy Soldiers Unite! So I guess that’s why I really came back after a year or so, to bring back happiness and fun and all things wonderful. I look forward to reuniting Division #35, or finding someone willing to run it. It’s great to see all the faces new and old, and I hope we can bring some extra fun back into the world.

Officer Cornelius Wimbledon Tesla Dolor, reporting for duty!

24/02/2012 at 01:44

I’m Acqua and like most of you I love Art, Music, Oddities and all sort of Crafts. I also dance, mostly ATS and Tribal Fusion. Hello Everyone :) !

27/02/2012 at 12:32

Hello to all our lovely new members! Welcome, pull up a muffin and have a cup of chair.

27/02/2012 at 14:08

hello everybody! I am not new to the TSU, but I have never actually been active in the forums and such

04/03/2012 at 20:36

Well, hmm. Where should I start…?

I am Dr. Connor Everett. I am a rather quiet and very fresh recruit from Southeastern Michigan. I learned of the Doctor and his music sometime in 2011, but I did not decide to join the movement until now, mainly because I was honestly a bit afraid to dive into something so grand, but I figured that spreading a message of creativity and passion couldn’t hurt the world, and that today of all days would be a great time to enlist.

My interests include a great deal of things: science, reading, drawing, music, video games, exploring the outdoors. I’m not sure how many events and invasions and such I’ll be able to be present at, but I will do my best to spread propaganda and bring as many of my friends and peers as possible into this with me. Also I’m not entirely sure when I’ll be able to acquire all the pieces of a suitable uniform ‘>_>. Nonetheless, I shall spread our message far and wide.

That’s about all I have to say, I guess! I look forward to being a part of this wonderful group.

10/03/2012 at 09:39

I am Sgt. Voltor. Many of you know me, some of you don’t, and others would rather forget I exist. :D I’ve been in the army for roughly 2.5 years, and am sad to see my fellow DSTEAM and 6800 soldiers MIA. I’ve been rather depressed about that and have been hesitant to post here, but I’m ok now. Well, that’s MY version of reality, anyway. My interests are many, and include steampunk design, analog sound synthesis, vintage video games, among other things. Welcome newcomers!

10/03/2012 at 13:29

welcome to toy soldiers old and new! (re)joining the army will be one of the greatest things you will do today! be sure to join 128 kilted crusade division if, like me, you love the feel of air around your legs!

12/03/2012 at 22:31

Hello, Toy Soldiers… and other.
My name is Slegar.
One day I will walk through the rainbow.

I like white roses. Obviously, nobody give it to me. Most of them think that roses are flowers only to give-when-in-love. Maybe this is true theory, maybe I am wrong.
Leave beautiful, lovers fact, and take a friendship one.
Did someone ever gave you a “friendship rose”?
1) YES -*Go “I” label*-
2) NO -*Go “II” label*-

Label “I”.
– Great! I envy you, really! :) Go label II.-

Label “II”.
– Even if someone gave you a rose, it was 1? 2? 3? times for a life? Hey! Its good! Better 1 true rose from true friend, than 10000 on women’s day (*and other statutory days*) from walkin’ meat! that It’s pure. It’s pure beauty. Behind that simple flower is true emotion. Many people needs to grow-up to be worth give it to someone. You dont need words when you hold a rose.
Propably that’s why lovers give rose to each other. But what if you just want to make someone fell that you like him, and want him to be happy? Maybe give a rose? Why not?

Its very strong. That flower hide great power, too strong for most of them.
Only true Spartiate can give rose to other Spartiate and still be a Spartiate. Or robot. That’s propably why giving rose to a friend is outdated…
Too big. Yay! Oh too much love?
Simple summary:
I mean that must be from soul. From hearth. From brain. Not from hand. I think so. But maybe I am wrong :)

I joined that site to find IT. I want to see YOU. Ideas that gave you Dr. Steel turns into real. He gave you a seeds… propably. Will it turn into a beautifull flower?
And IF it will turn, will it be given to rest of world?

– I will fly over the area…

18/03/2012 at 01:00

Hi dear Toys Soldiers,

My name is Col. Leonhard V.P.Keith. I am the Empathic Counselor of our Stray Devision 161 S. I live i Germany at moment, but my roots are spanish from “la Extremadura”, joder, ole :-)

18/03/2012 at 21:52

Hello there.

My name is Jonathan A. Saiko. I am Russian and I live in one of the ex-USSR countries. Believe me, it looks nothing like Utopian Playland here so I’ll do my best to spread the knowledge about Dr Steel and TSA among people here. I hope my skills in East Slavic languages will be helpful for TSA. I also have some music skills but for now it’s less important.

Unfortunately, I’ve heard about Dr Steel after his retirement and I am quite a newcomer but I’ll do my best.

18/03/2012 at 23:30

Welcome Johnathan. Just because Dr. Steel is in retirement does not mean the Army is done. Our mission to create, have fun, and build a Utopian Playland is just beginning!

21/03/2012 at 10:47

Welcome guys, its great to have you here :D

22/03/2012 at 11:44

Good afternoon. i am Jade Valor aka “the Starving Bear” starving bear is my Indian name i have given myself in honor of my partial Native American Heritage. i Love Anime,Manga, Video Games, Sparing with Fist or Sword, as well as AirSoft and Paintball. i Love Japanese Culture and food as well as WWI Era. i am a man who both appreciates the firing of a Cannon and the Beauty of a sakura tree(Cherry Blossom). i am good at Military strategy and have an overactive imagination and thinks that English, math, and many other pointless work is a pain. but im not an idiot i am quite intelligent when it comes to the things i love. i also believe that although war is and always will be an option…Death does not have to be! imagine a world where things like a Large scale paintball war solved the issue instead of pointless slaughter! THAT would solve the issue AND be fun!

Greetings. I’m Lance Corporal Discord, although some have called me Andrew at various points on the timeline. I’m looking to improve my ability to communicate, currently refreshing myself on the German language and planning to study other languages thenceforth. I have a variety of interests, to be brief however let’s say that I “enjoy playing games of all kinds, (occasionally) creating original works, and generally having fun, things sorely forgotten nowadays”. I heard about Dr. Steel a couple of years ago via the Internet but I’ve only recently reached a point in my life where I’m able to commit to the cause a bit more fully. Other than spreading propaganda locally I have had no significant involvement yet but I hope to soon!

27/03/2012 at 03:23

Hey, I’m Dr. Gonzo I was a sergeant in the old TSU site but after much time, consideration, and cookies I have decide to become a doctor. Yes indeed a doctor of journalism even tho there is nothing to report here in British Columbia seeing as all the toy soldiers in the area have disappeared! BUT I will continue to spread the glorious word of the toy soldiers. I live on a small farm with an army of 400 chicken I trained every last one of them to be indestructible clucking machines. Anyway I’m happy to be back in the bunker and I look forward to seeing our Utopian play land become a reality.

27/03/2012 at 08:58

hi, my name is Bill Snodgrass, otherwise known as Coyote. im an artist and wandered the nets till I came across Dr. Steel and his statement about reality engineering. i’ve always tried to spread joy to those feeling down as I am truly like my name goes, a Coyote, a trickster; and now that I have found this group I hope to improve my methods and together bring forth the utopian playland.

29/03/2012 at 16:45

Good afternoon, soldiers.

Seems I’ve stumbled my way back here for a bit.

Possibly longer.

30/03/2012 at 02:56

So watching Fanboy Confessional on space reminded me of all the fun I’ve been missing for a while.

I return to find a whole new forum and that I didn’t have an account any more. I was Heretic, or heretic zed or some combination of those names, honestly can’t remember anymore, so it’s just as well. Now you can call me JC if you like, which is how I like my friends to address me.

Might as well get this part out in the open right now since I’d rather be up front about it than be accused of hiding anything. I was born male, but my personality, mind etc, doesn’t agree. I am a girl despite anatomical evidence to the contrary. It’s a confusing and complicated subject but if you ask me honest questions about it privately, I will do my best to answer in kind.

30/03/2012 at 03:43

Hello, I’m fairly new to all this and figured it’s about time I said Hello!

I found the magical music of Dr. Steel sometime before christmas this past season, and in the months since I’ve got my fiance and good freind hooked. My fiance, Commander Brickstone, and I are planning to do some bookmark propaganda and such as soon as we can.

We ran into Sgt Larks at the CLockwork Carnival Featuring the wonderful Voltaire, here in Idaho and were amazingly featured in the latest Pinecone Broadcast!! SO exciting! I am out of the photo featured, but that’s ok! We had a great time and plan on going to the Carnivale Steampunk Ball in Sept.

I will be using my workplace printers to print out propaganda…why? Because that shall be my level of corporate revenge!! Also, I’m broke and out of ink/paper…. :)

Looking forward to finding more Toy Soldiers in the area and hopefully creating more!

30/03/2012 at 04:38

Welcome Lodemai!

30/03/2012 at 04:55

Helloooooooo Lodemai! And hello especially to all the other new soldiers! It’s a pleasure to have you all! Pull up a chair and celebrate an un-birthday or 700! Spread some jam on your hats and take a seat on your toast! And don’t forget your tea!

30/03/2012 at 05:48

Hey, everyone! I’m Alexandra, or Ola, and I’m new to both the Toy Soldiers and this forum. Thanks to the magic of Last FM and the Voltaire radio, I found Dr. Steel (sadly after his retirement, about which I found out today, so, bummer) and after some reading, found my way here. Shortly after, I decided to join the cause, and not at all because I have a weakness for uniforms. Don’t listen to anything the Yorkshire Cadet Force tells you about that
So… Yeah. I thought I’d introduce myself and all.

Hello Macloud, and welcome again, or is it welcome back? Welcome back again? Whatever the case, glad to have you aboard!

14/04/2012 at 21:11

Hey. I just joined up a couple of weeks ago and thought I was as well to pop in and say hi. I live in a tiny village in the west of Ireland, so propaganda hasnt really been an option just yet. Im big into miniature wargames and i can play a couple of instruments too. I enjoy drawing, but havent had time for that sort of stuff this year with college.
Thats about it really…

I hope to do what I can for the army of toy soldiers in whatever way I can. I hope anybody that reads this has a wonderful day and hope to meet some of you some day. Thank you.

Well, I suppose..
I’m not a new soldier, by any stretch of the imagination. been a soldier.. 5.. 6.. 7? years now, I’m not even sure anymore, time flies. But, I’ve been hiding underground for a while and just got around to setting up an account on the new site.

I am Zolgar, mad-man from Arizona. Founder of the now defunct EARTH, and leader of the almost defunct Division 800, Arizona Division (there’s 2 of us! huzzah!).

In my real life I am a fire dancer and manufacturer of fire toys. Yes, I get payed to play with fire.
Aside from that, I am a gamer and a crafter (sometimes), and like to spend time in the wilderness poking things.

Welcome, Doctor Phreak!

22/04/2012 at 22:15

Heyy everyone Toy Scout reporting for duty : D My name is Madison and I am from Toronto., I just enlisted a couple days ago and I am very excited to start doing some missions, writing propaganda, and spreading awareness about the Army of Toy Soldiers., I have been a fan of Dr. Steel for awhile especially his PSA’s and the Dr. Steel Show., I found about about him a year or so age from a wise wizard., while chatting about the singularity of the universe and The 13Th Planet,. and have been hooked ever since., I have known about TSU for awhile, but have had quitee a hectic year to say the least so0o0o unfortunaly it took me this long to enlist!!

So a bit moreee about me., well I enlisted for a few reasons., one I love the positive message that TSU puts forth and I lovee playing all types of games and having fun., from computer games to paint ball and even historical , tabletop war games, I have played and enjoyed them all.,. or at least allot of them : D Also I have had a bit of a negative year that made me a bit jaded to the world so I am relay trying to turn that metaphorical frown upside down and see the world, and myself in a more positive light. Also I am a hugee fan of military fashion especially the bad guys : D I think it takes a keen eye for style to mount a successfully world takeover : D so naturally I love the Toy Soldier uniforms and the satire of everything totalitarian.,., and am very excited to start to work on my own scout uniform ASAP., Lastly but defiantly not leastly I lovee to write and I love using my imagination and I also love to preform and be the centre of attention.,., looook at meeeee!!! : D., So I am excited to do some of my own propaganda videos and soap box rallies(think enemy at the gates Kommissar :D ) and definatly have wayyy to mutch fun and draw allot of attention to the cause too!!

22/04/2012 at 23:01

Madison, you sound fun! Welcome!

23/04/2012 at 09:46

Welcome everyone, its lovely to see such enthusiasm from you all, and we’re all really excited to have you here ^^

I am starting to work on my uniform today!!! and hopefully will post picks asap : D
ps. s0o0 trueee Jade you can’t have to much funn cuzz the best part of having allot of extra fun, is sharing it with others : D

23/04/2012 at 18:25

well the official Toy soldier patch is in the shops tab on the TSU menu up at the top of the screen. but you probably want the toy scout patch and as of yet we dont sell them yet (we used to but i dont know where they when or were we got em in the first place) sorry. look online. thire are also a forum somewhere here to give you pointers and links. id link them now but my computers dieing and im racing the clock typing this as it is.

[End Message]

23/04/2012 at 18:47

I’m afraid we never sold scout patches ever. Until we are able to offer any, you can use the image on the propaganda toolkit page and ask a custom patch maker to do them.
the only patches we’ve ever sold were the yellow shoulder patches, and the dr. steel patch. And now we only sell the shoulder patches to pay for the server, however we are considering a new patch for later on. Stay tuned.

23/04/2012 at 18:50

I don’t recall any Toy Scout patches, and I’ve been a Toy Soldier for 2 years and some months. We’ve only had the Toy Soldier patches, AFAIK. :-?

23/04/2012 at 18:54

i feel theres an awesome idea forming here maybe we should look into making scout and nurse patches

23/04/2012 at 18:57

Captain Mayo:
i feel theres an awesome idea forming here maybe we should look into making scout and nurse patches

Indeed. I believe it was brought up on the old site, as well, though the idea was shut down on the old site.

23/04/2012 at 19:03

Sgt. Voltor: Indeed.I believe it was brought up on the old site, as well, though the idea was shut down on the old site.

23/04/2012 at 19:49

well I am just heading out now to get some parts of my uniform so wish me luck., and yes updates will follow : D I am planing on ordering the shoulder patched from TSU and I am looking into a few custom embroidery shops to get some patches for my uniform.,., also is it ok to still put a Dr. Steel patch on the uniform as a secondary patch ,. I was thinking on my hat., I know that the focus is on us the toy Soldiers now but I do reli miss the good Dr. and I would love to show my appreciation for how his music and his message helped my outlook on life

23/04/2012 at 22:06

Hi all!

My name is Kat and I’m in the Toy Scout Regiment. During the day I’m a full-time Costume Design Assistant in theater. By night, I’m working on various art projects for my fashion arts studio, Cheshire Couture Studios. I’m a very friendly goth and collect vinyl records and vintage jewelry. I’m also a fan of 1950s Cadillacs. XD

I am a returning Toy Scout after being caught up with college life, graduation , and getting a job. During all this, Dr. Steel vanished from Toy Soldiers Untied and the site was upgraded.

24/04/2012 at 06:50

I’ve been on only about a month. I’m from Hamilton new zealand. I’m a student of History and Anthropology, and am interested in setting up a New Zealand Division. So if anyone else here is from NZ then message me, ‘cos I want to hear from you!

24/04/2012 at 07:28

Welcome back, Kat, and welcome Jack! We need more Jacks on here, as well as New Zealanders.

24/04/2012 at 10:38

Hey guys, good to meet you all ^_^ to answer your question Madison, lots of soldiers still wear their Dr. Steel patches on their uniforms even though we aren’t affiliated with him any more. I’ve still got the necklace I made out of my pin that accompanys me on every invasion :)

24/04/2012 at 11:59

@ Sgt. Voltor

24/04/2012 at 12:09

Hello, I just joined recently. TSU seems pretty amazing.
My name is Tomas, I live in Ireland, I like strange things and stuff.

I like to build strange stuff! I also take normal stuff and make it strange. Also been known to take strange stuff and make it normal. Then there’s the less-strange stuff that gradually becomes so normal, it’s usually strange. Then again, I’m pretty strange too. Welcome!

28/04/2012 at 14:10

Hello everyone i am new you may call me Vice and its a pleasure to be here.

I would have to say that i came into this realm a little later than i would have liked, but nothing to do about that now.

i look forward to interacting with you all. Still getting the feel for this space.

If i was going to say i had a talent it would have to be with ideas and the ability to share them. I have a particular ability understand the steps a person needs to see an idea. Not something so coarse as to give them the answer but to speak with them and allow them to see where the idea leads them.

But again it is good to be here see you all around.

Greetings Fellow toySoldiers,

the name is Liska.
Located in the nearly submerged land called Holland.
In general i am a traveling Soldier.
but when fixed to my homefront, i am a blacksmith at heart.
Also, i am known for being a walking Propaganda machine.
Especially after a pint or two to many.
I really hope i succeed in placing my district on the Utopian map.
With this rather short introduction, i say Greetings to all!

29/04/2012 at 23:27

Hello there,
I’m Alan or better known as Silent, from a small village in England (just south of London), I’m a regular technophile and jack of all trades, when I am not geeking out I can be found either attempting to juggle or forgetting how to play guitar or something to that effect.
Nice to meet you all. *sticks hand out*

02/05/2012 at 11:12

Welcome Alan and a late welcome to every other soldier that joined these past few months =D

02/05/2012 at 11:23

Hi Alan, always good to see a new UK recruit, especially one so close to home. I’d advise joining the TSU-UK and 1665 (Clockwork Zombies of London) divisions first thing :) Also, will we be seeing you at the MCM Expo at the Excel Centre in the Docklands at the end of May?

02/05/2012 at 11:35

Thanks for the greetings.
I have already put in a request to join the TSU-UK group and how can I resist a group concerning zombies? :D
Ahh, the MCM Expo, one of those things I continually say I am going to attend and never get around to, story of my life in a way.

02/05/2012 at 11:43

Bah. Poor excuse :p Come along, it’ll be great, and there’s always a lot of drinking and merriment outside with the Toy Soldiers even if you don’t go in.

02/05/2012 at 11:53

My availability to appear for drinks will depend on work that week, unfortunately having two jobs makes my social life virtually non-existent at times, however I could be tempted to meet for an ale or two.

03/05/2012 at 15:58

Cooooome on… *wafts temptation in your direction. Temptation that smells of ale and fresh cookies*

04/05/2012 at 19:51

Thank you all! I

09/05/2012 at 20:20

Well hullo there! I do believe a few have said this before, but I am new to here, though not new to the Toy Soldiers in general. At the time I joined, I had much time to be interested in things but not much time to act on them. I find myself with much more time at current to pursue personal interests, and I found my way back here! Thus I return.

My interests vary quite a bit, from old (I doodle endlessly, knit, write, listen to a lot of music, and bake) to new (more cooking, learning to sew, steampunk things.) I’m very glad to have found my path crossing this one once more.

09/05/2012 at 21:53

Ah, very good! We need more individuals who understand the fine aesthetic that is steampunk. Do you make stuff, then? I would most certainly love to see some of your steampunk designs!

09/05/2012 at 22:40

A bit. I’ve been interested in it for QUITE a while (well, a few years anyway) but it’s only this year that I’ve been able to actually do anything with it. At current, I’ve only made some passing little doo-dads (handy things, related to dinglehoppers and thingamajigs, but with just a little tweak,) but I’ve made one costume of my own so far, and I’m working on a much better one. Aforementioned costume was also my first go at sewing, and since nothing came apart, I’m pretty pleased! I’ll be sure to post some of my projects soon!

09/05/2012 at 22:47

Very cool! Can’t wait to see your stuff!

14/05/2012 at 12:53

hello,my name is micheal,i stumbled across this when i decided to look deeper into doctor steel,im new to all this but i like the ideals behind it:)

14/05/2012 at 15:49

Good Morning!

Hey all, I’m not really good at these introductory things because I never really know what to say about myself. My name is Draven, but I’ll also answer to Will. I’m a professional magician and sideshow entertainer based out of Los Angeles.

I’m into theater, illusions, magic, magick, occult, ghosts, gouls, goblins, video games, board games, paint ball, air soft, war games, strategy games, super soakers, Nerff, sword fighting, and Anime. Above all else I love having fun!

Pleasure to meet everyone, and I look forward to getting more involved around this place.

14/05/2012 at 17:10

14/05/2012 at 20:35

Hi there! I’m pretty new to all of this, and shy as well, but I first heard about Dr. Steel and his message through his music (and several curious Google searches). I can honestly say that ever since I first heard one of Dr. Steel’s songs a few weeks ago, I’ve been obsessed with the music. I kid you not, I only listen to Dr. Steel’s music now. ^^ I’d never thought there would be a musical artist with this kind of message… Anyway, I like gaming and drawing, writing and reading. I’m really excited to make friends here xD Pretty sure that’s obvious since I wrote so much here… *waves bye and scurries under a rock somewhere all nervous-like*

14/05/2012 at 21:21

I’m in the greater Chicago area…but there are a few Soldiers from neighboring states, too. There are pockets of us everywhere in America, so you’ll probably be able to organize an invasion as we get new members. Don’t be surprised if fellow Toy Soldiers live near you. :-D

15/05/2012 at 20:18

I have been here for a while now, not too terribly long. But I figure now I might as well to introduce myself. I am Cosmonaut Mir. I enjoy most forms of art, from painting sculpting, sketching. I enjoy science fiction, and post apocolyptic adventures. Plus I like to keep my music tastes eclectic. I must say it is a pleasure and an honor to be in a group with pretty cool people. :D

16/05/2012 at 06:47

Hello, Toy Soldiers! I am *Vahi5. Please determine for yourselves if I am an AI of some sort, an android, or an organic human.

Now that that’s out of the way, I’m a total novice here, as in, I made my account less than an hour ago. I’ve sent a membership request for the GAME Spec. Ops. division, but really, I’m just hoping I can find a use for myself around here.

Outside computer maintnence, gaming and game design, I really can’t say I have any useful skills, but I enjoy everything from Renaissance fair(e)s to Star Trek to the Fallout series.

Only problem is, I’m out here in the middle of nowhere.

Anyway, I like what i see so far, and I hope I don’t just become dead weight.

Best of luck and fortune to all of us!

16/05/2012 at 06:53

*Vahi5, as long as you are having fun and doing what you enjoy, you are being useful. Also, if you are being creative, you are being useful. We follow the doctrines put in place by Dr. Steel, so watch some propaganda videos here and on YouTube to get a better idea of how you can be of service to the army. And you only live in the middle of nowhere if you think you do. You can engineer your own reality, and turn your surroundings into whatever you want them to be. And WELCOME TO THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS TSU!!

16/05/2012 at 20:24

Thanks, Voltor.

Actually, I’m currently working on a Fraxy boss that I think might be worth posting once it’s done. And by that, I mean the first of mine that isn’t completely terrible. I seem to get part creation errors when I try to add the drones…

Anyway, enough of me getting off track. If all i have to do is do stuff I enjoy, than I’ll be of some use for a long time.

17/05/2012 at 15:56

Forgive my absence but Welcome All new Toy soldiers! i hope you make many friends here! and dont worry, we dont bite!…well most of us dont anyway…..and even then its not too hard…….ummm ANYWAY! have fun or else!

01/06/2012 at 15:24

Good day, compatriots! You can call me Frajic. I discovered the Army just today, and it would be a disgrace for me not to enlist! I’ve noticed the forums isn’t the busiest of places… It makes me kind of sad. It makes me want to get to work, in fact. To spread propaganda, to go on all sorts of crazy missions in an effort to make our Army of Toy Soldiers grow, and move us further in our quest for an Utopian Playland!

…was that too dramatic? Maybe I shouldn’t have jumped to zealousness right off the bat?

01/06/2012 at 15:39

A sizable portion of the Toy Soldiers work during the day and there are foreign TS too in different time zones.

Plus the forums die down a bit after a major invasion, so we’re all recovering from that :P

But, nonetheless, welcome to Toy Soldiers Unite and we hope you enjoy your stay :)

we love enthusiasm around here! get propping soldier!

01/06/2012 at 20:56

Well, hmm. It’s time for me to say ‘hello’, I think. So, yeah, hello, I’m mr. Killjoy, as you might have noticed under that icon I have on the left from the text.
I’m actually from the far country of Ukraine, and that’s in fact all I can say. But in my profile there stands ‘I draw and write stuff’ which is, in fact, true.
And I have pretty much ‘interesting‘ story with the man who started all this *points at the whole site* but that’s not the point.
I’m an ironical writer and a fair-enough drawing artist, who probably has Aspergers syndrome, but I’m not quite sure – I’ve had enough psychologist and doctors in my life not to have a tiniest wish to have another go.
As much as I’m willing to help how I can with what I have to the TSU, I’m not sure if I am going to be an active member (I mean… way too active). But you’ll never know untill you try. This might be fun *winks* let’s give it a go, eh?

01/06/2012 at 21:17

Whoohoo! Enthusiasm all around! Welcome, indeed, to the finest Army in the world!

04/06/2012 at 11:57

I’m friends with this Pheasant whom, for quite a while now, have been talking about this Dr. Steel character and have been drawing his face on wall and such in our town.
So, you know, I figured that I needed to research what exactly was so great about this thingy.
And you know, how can I deny support to a movement who just wants to spread and have fun?
My name is Stine, I’m from Denmark, and I also go under the nicknames: Refi, Lucy, Lucifer, Satan and Fox.
But really, I’m pretty nice. Mostly ;)

04/06/2012 at 13:12

Hiya Stine!
First of all, yay! Another Dane!

Welcome to the army, have fun here and if you end up having nothing to do, pop by the chat room. :D

Hello all.

It was only recently that I discovered the glorious Doctor Steel, so the unbridled joy of that discovery was mixed with the crushing despair of the news of his retirement.

I am an engineering student from the UK, a life-long science fiction fan and, somewhat inevitably, something of a transhumanist.

Though we will most likely not here anymore from the great Doctor, I look forward to doing whatever I can to advance the cause with you all.

10/06/2012 at 14:38

Welcome Ladders. May I be the first to welcome you to our digital bunker. :)

I’m Mrs. Hatter! I’m new here!
I’m pretty Kraetiv hire in drawing / painting and I like to edit pictures!
I can not sew costumes not so good! I like to watch anime or good Since fiction series. I have looked very much like Dr. Who, and a few other series.

I am from Germany and my English is not the best! So excuse me if one or the other is wrong

You’re welcome to me at all times all questions that I try to answer you!
Best wishes Mrs Hatter

17/06/2012 at 06:04

My name is Nik O’Laun, and I am a bold new soldier excited to begin. Those who know me consider me odd in that I have the most fun when I’m incredibly busy. I despise having days off of work, and as such look for productive ways to keep busy outside of it. I’m upbeat, high energy, and have been dubbed “unnaturally happy” by my coworkers. The reason au believe I fit in, despite my hatred of remaining idle or inneficient, is how I keep up. I love tactical pursuits, diplomatic situations and achievements even when they aren’t recognized. My work is my playground, hence why I am in the theme park business in Orland, Florida. To keep occupied when not at work, I am currently learning the arts of tailoring and special FX makeup (specifically prosthetic work). I draw, sing and write, though not all at once. I’d like to add my duties as a Toy Soldier to my currently frustratingly empty time off.

I found the Toy Soldiers through a dear friend of mine when he had me listen to Dr. Steel in my pursuit for inspiration. I’ll upload pictures of my deep tissue layer laceration prosthetic that came about from “Land of the Lost” once I have a computer at my disposal instead of a phone. It’s rather amusing that I’m now a soldier, as I introduced my friend to the Fur fandom many years back through a similar method. I’m now uncertain what else to write, and as such will cut this short. Questions are welcome, and I’ll ask quite a few!

– New Recruite, Nik

17/06/2012 at 07:45

Welcome Nik! Seeing your talents, it is safe to assume you will be making your own Toy Soldier uniform, yes? And we recognize all achievements brought to our wonderful Table of Achievements, located in Conference Room B, of the East Hallway, Room #232.

17/06/2012 at 11:34

I will, certainly. I also look foreword to creating my own custom patches at some point seeing as I have the skill set for that as well. *Salute.*

17/06/2012 at 12:32

Wow. It’s good to see so many new recruits and returning toy soldiers here. Proof that the Army of Toy Soldiers is alive, well, and growing so fast I’m half expecting someones mother to come and say “You need a new set of clothes, you’re too big for these.”

If anyone has any questions, suggestions, or ideas, don’t hesitate to post them, or ask our highly trained crew of Mods. Now go grab a NERF gun and some cookies from the armoury!

Well…I have a lot of nicknames but Kane was one that stuck so I thought it would work in an environment where fun is bountiful…For a bit about me, I am currently a college student working a semi-stable job in northern Virginia…I also seem to type how I talk, so if random tangents (or “…” appear its just my transitions…) like this appear…sorry…but it seems to make my friends laugh :) . I haven’t been around long but I’m currently in the process of bringing a few friends to enjoy the fun!

Hello! I’m Jade, but You can call me either Aria, Snap, or Allison, it doesn’t matter to me. I’m actually not ‘new’ to the Toy Soldier Army, but I unfortunately faded out of the community after our dear Doctor retired. I’m back now, however, and eager to start spreading fun once more!

Welcome back, Jade!

09/07/2012 at 21:14

Hello comrades,

I am Commandant Manifest, or simply Manifest if you prefer. I have been aware of Dr. Steel, his army, and his wonderful philosophy for years, but until now have not joined due to lack of funds. Allow me to elaborate: My particular brand of mania drives me to pursue my interests with a focus that could be construed as bordering on obsession. Because of this, and my nature as a perfectionist, following my interests in a manner that doesn’t leave me feeling unfulfilled requires a certain level of monetary investment from me. With my current situation I finally feel confidant that I will be able to provide the necessary materials to fully invest myself in the endeavor of assisting in the creation of our utopian playland.

A few of you already know me personally, but for those who don’t I currently reside in Northern California’s Central Valley. I’m a bit of a jack of all trades, and my interests range widely, but consistently across the entire spectrum of nerdery. Feel free to drop me a line for any sort of discussion, or if you’re central to my location, set up a tactical playtime. Until then, let us spread fun together and suffice it to say that it is both my pleasure and honor to finally join the illustrious ranks of the Toy Soldiers.

12/07/2012 at 05:30

Hello there! New Toy Soldier here, just wanted to say hello to my fellow soldiers. I got into Doctor Steel ages ago and re-discovered my love for him though a flash site containing his Back and Forth song. I will say I was deeply saddened when I found out of his retirement, but I do hope he comes back one day in the hopefully near future. Don’t be worried if I don’t post much though, I am more or less a lurker.

12/07/2012 at 17:45

Hi all, I’m a new Toy Soldier, however I was introduced to propaganda of his back in early 2011, but until I came across the Back and Forth flash on a website I didn’t really give him much of a look. I wish I had sooner. I love the philosophy, music, persona, and just everything about this community and the man himself.

As for about me, I’m a anime and manga fan from the south of England, I cosplay and go to conventions, I edit together music videos, I can somewhat play the ocarina and I’m a huge gamer. Oh and also a brony.

I’ll probably come on here and post every now and then when I have the chance, and spread propaganda around this area though I do know quite a few Toy Soldiers in my area already (South Devon).

Sorry for the lengthy post, I tend to go on and on sometimes. :)

12/07/2012 at 19:11

Hey, Detective Piechowski reporting for duty!
Now, I’ll tell you one thing, this place is pretty overwhelming! So much to do, so much of it based in the U.S.
I’ve started spreading propaganda between my friends but uniforms are very hard to come by. I reckon I’ll become more active if I go to university, I could form a TSU society!
ALright, back to basics, I’m 16 years young, from England and was introduced to you lovely people at the MCM expo in London this year.
I’m a fan of reading, philosophy, I’m a brony, a steampunk fan, and tons of other things. Send me a message if you want to know more.
Music wise I listen to just about everything, classical, rave, rock and roll, metal, anything that gets my feet moving.
I love the whole philosophy of this group, fun for all!
My base of operations is Kettering currently.
Okay, that’s all from me!

13/07/2012 at 17:01

Welcome new Soldiers!

16/07/2012 at 16:13

Greetings Soldiers,

I suppose this is as good a place as any to introduce myself.

My name is not yours to know, my purpose is something you should all by now be aware of. I am here to put an end to you all and there is nothing you can do to stop me.

Commander Jet, do yourself a favor and do as I say. Shut down the Toy Soldiers website and I’ll call off my attacks. If you refuse… well you’ll only have yourself to blame.

I’ll be keeping an eye on you all.

17/07/2012 at 15:07

It really takes nards of Steel to create an account specifically designed to threaten an organization as you have done here. In doing so- you have created a fatal flaw- You have alerted the Soldiers, who will now be on the ready to take you down, using only their imagination and creativity. We are NOT afraid. We will stand strong, and when we bring you to justice, we will make you laugh harder than you have ever laughed in your likely tortured life…

Welcome, Unnamed! ;)

18/07/2012 at 07:33

Greetings from the NW, you can call me whatever you want, I’m quite an eclectic, odd, unique, isolated and creative individual, though we all have our weaknesses, mine being; prone to obsessive behavior and constant studying, writing. So, why not help aid this maddening even further? The “reality” in which I dwell is definitely alien and beyond the confines of what is commonly deemed contemporary and normal. If my blabbing interested you the least bit, please feel free to contact me. I’m quite open minded, I love philosophizing and discussing various Scientific theories, especially those involving Parallel existences/state’s of consciousness and varying levels of being. With that being said I bid you all farewell and I look forward to hearing from you, toodaloo!

By all means throw whatever you have at us, we will turn it into a game, you’ll only fuel our joy. In fact, I have the R&D dept developing something special for just such an occasion. More on that soon, unnamed. Keep your eyes peeled.

Well, I’m Fleshwerk (or Aaron), I occasionally go by another name when I’m doing things I’d not want traced back to me – I’d be a fool to post that here :P

I first heard of TS from Apothecary Chrysalice who sent me podcasts whilst I was living in Germany…. and she has ever since been pestering me to join.

Met a few TS down in London for AC earlier this year, seemed very friendly people. I had no intention of joining TS despite Crysalice’s wishes, then all of a sudden I had an urge to sign up….. I think her brainwashing powers have finally surfaced!

So, a bit about myself:

I’m a freelance photographer (sortof) based in Brighton, born in Merseyside (yup, I know Crysalice from way way ago), lived in New Zealand for 4 years, Germany for 3 months and Brighton ever since.

Can speak English fluently and some German, currently topless and sockless (though not trouserless). I’m into metal, and currently meant to be getting ready for work (at my second job).

So yer! Hello all!

27/07/2012 at 01:13

Welcome new Soldiers! So good to have you all aboard!

29/07/2012 at 01:03

Welcome aboard Fleshwerk! nice too have you hear! trust me you will always find at least one toy soldier who has common interests, its amazing how well we all get along! youll have people who like romance novels having a friendly chat with a slasher film fan! Well I was here before the new site and I never had the chance to become an active member. I am a writer for the Website I am also a steampunk hobbyist and a costume designer (my current project being a stempunk jetpack.) I look forward to actually doing something for the Army of Toy Soldiers. :3

06/08/2012 at 17:23

Tressen, Francisca, good to have you both. I look forward to getting to know you each better, and perhaps planning invasions or tactical playtimes.

06/08/2012 at 19:20

I’ve missed this place. So much. After a forced hiatus, I return under a new name. I hope to be much more active this time round, job willing.

I’m into writing, puppetry, creative parenting, steampunk, roleplaying games, and CCGs. I’m a proud geek dad, and hope to raise my children to embrace their creativity and the sense of fun that that the Toy Soldiers bring to the world.

That’s about it, for now. Just happy to be here.

06/08/2012 at 19:38

Wow, lots of fun new members! Welcome one and all to the army of fun and creativity! And Welcome Back, Professor H!

06/08/2012 at 19:55

Greetings I am Maladict. Ive only recently discovered the music, videos and motivation of Dr Steel and felt compelled to join the army. Im from south east england if theres a division based anywhere near by I be interested in conversing. I am an artist, actor and writer although my creative talents have been somewhat withered by pressures of life and hope that I can regain some inspiration from speaking to other talented individuals. I look forward to meeting you all.

06/08/2012 at 20:31

Hey there new recruits!

Maladict, your nearest divisions are London and the Iceni Garrison in Essex.
However, for the most part, the TSU-UK acts as one whole division since we all know each other and attend invasions from across the UK. Next one for the UK will most likely be the MCM Expo in October (and White Mischief on the saturday night of that weekend).

08/08/2012 at 21:42

Hello, I am Zerillis dagger I just remade my account. I was on the old site, But I cant remember what name I used. I currently live In a small town. I plan on spreding the word of the Toy Soldiers through this small town of mine.

12/08/2012 at 09:26

Good work Dagger, always great to see old solders coming back to the ranks!

12/08/2012 at 18:05

Welcome back indeed, Dagger!

14/08/2012 at 01:35

Uhh… Hello. I’m Mokele Mbembe, named after the supposed dinosaur hiding in the jungles of africa. I first heard Dr. Steel’s music a long while ago, but only recently started getting into it once he was retired.

14/08/2012 at 03:15

Welcome Mokele, Glad to have you with us

14/08/2012 at 07:31

Welcome to our ranks, Mokele!

14/08/2012 at 12:09

Hey, I’m new here. I’d see Dr. Steel’s face before, and never really looked into it. I also heard Back and Forth once and was unsure if I liked the song or not. I showed it to my friends recently and it was…enthralling. I listened to some of his other music and his PSA, and found myself quickly ensnared. On top of that, I found out about you guys, who seem to be some of the most incredible fans in the world. I think I might stumbled upon something life changing.

14/08/2012 at 14:40

Thank you Violet Oblivion and welcome aboard ! :3

Back after way too long a furlough. My specialities include cooking, boffer sword fighting, and shenanigans.

Good to see the TSU is still going strong, despite the tragic absence of Our Beloved Doctor.

19/08/2012 at 15:50

I am new. Hello.

19/08/2012 at 18:44

Hello Aym!

23/08/2012 at 17:59

Hi! I’m new! Are there any soldiers from Poland here?

23/08/2012 at 18:31

Howdy Felhala. Not sure, check out the “Divisions” forum.

24/08/2012 at 20:19

Hey guys, Seb here (yes please call me that). Just recently been introduced to the army through the music and show, and I just couldn’t resist. If there’s any fellow belgians here, still looking for a division :) (and a uniform). Oh and I know kung-fu, that always feels nice to say.

24/08/2012 at 20:55

Welcome to the army, I think you make your own uniform and check the divisions forum for a group near you. I am a fan of kung-fu movies, but I doubt that counts.

25/08/2012 at 01:43

i have been asking this a lot but please forgive my absente! my internet shut down untill today…but anyway! WELCOME ALL NEW TOY SOLDIERS TO THE TSU! we need all the help we can get to fight this Unnamed fellow!

25/08/2012 at 17:20

Welcome to the army, I think you make your own uniform and check the divisions forum for a group near you. I am a fan of kung-fu movies, but I doubt that counts.

Eeyup! Make your own uniforms! Patches and pins are available on this site right here, and clothes…that’s up to you! Black and yellow with a touch of red is the norm, other than that, the sky’s the limit. Put as much creativity in your uniform as possible!

29/08/2012 at 01:40

Hi fellow soldiers!!! I am new here and proud and loud. Also bisexual.

30/08/2012 at 07:05

Welcome Ophelia :D ! What a beautiful name you have there :3 <3 !

30/08/2012 at 16:53

Hello there.

I’m new and shiny and have no uniform. I made this account a while ago right after I randomly found this on the internet, but: 1. I was too shy to post and 2. it seemed really inactive and I didn’t want to get myself all excited over something that wasn’t going anywhere. But I’m still interested, and the new “attack” videos are wonderfully wonderful, and I guess just posting around a little shouldn’t be too scary. So here I am.

My favorite things to eat are candy and icecream, I’d wear ridiculous costumes every day if I could, and seeing age limits on playground/playplace equipment makes me sadface because inside I am pretty much a rather twisted five year old. Hence my instant attraction to the idea of a Utopian Playland. Right now I’m living in London but I move back to the states after this school year.

30/08/2012 at 17:14

Welcome to the Army of Toy Soldiers, Sphinx!

30/08/2012 at 17:16

Welcome Sphinx!

30/08/2012 at 17:57

*looks over the new Soldiers* mmmm yes I think these will do nicely.

30/08/2012 at 20:13

0.0 no eating newbies with BBQ sauce!

31/08/2012 at 07:36

I’m not really new, but I figured I’d see if my old account was still active (It is not, no surprised). I’ve been out of the loop for a few years now, but i’ve still got my patches somewhere.

03/09/2012 at 23:41

Hello everyone!
names Christopher DeWitt, you can call me chris.
i am new, and loving what i am seeing.
can’t wait to help in a invasion.

04/09/2012 at 16:45

Welcome back, Fedak! Hello, Pvt. Clockwork! Nice to have you both aboard!

06/09/2012 at 15:15

Hello all.

My name is Justin and… I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing here. Skimmed through the site, looked cool, I signed up. I’m 22, currently a resident of a Job Corps center. So anything I do, anything at all, is restricted to this campus.

Anything I should know or be doing right now?

13/09/2012 at 02:00

Good evening, all; we’re Estelore, and it’s lovely to meet you!
We major in linguistics and teach piano for a living. The more time we spend around our young students, the more we want the world to be a happier place for them to inhabit. We’re deconstructionist and Discordian, and we found our way here by way of our pal Hedo, who might or might not be a member of the site (not sure).
You’re welcome to ask us questions about whatever piques your minds.

13/09/2012 at 23:53

Welcome to the Army, Estelore! I do believe Hedo is (or was) a member of the Army. At any rate, good to have ya aboard, though hopefully you encourage your piano students to be creative, and not just teach them, “This is the PROPER way to play this. DON’T play this any other way!” :-P

14/09/2012 at 01:11

^_^ Kindly don’t make unsubstantiated assumptions about our teaching method, hey? :) We tailor our teaching to every student’s individual learning style, and for the vast majority (i.e. everybody who didn’t arrive with the up-front stated goal of “I want to learn this exact piece of music with classical precision!”), composition, ear training, and improvisation are among the first skills adopted after learning to identify the notes and keys. Encouraging creative branching of skills is one of the most effective ways to help students acquire better technical musical skills, since they have to figure out how to use the instrument with more complexity if they want to produce more and more complex creations. As they get good enough at simple creations to grow bored with the simplicity, they become self-driven to improve their skills, discover previously unrecognized musical genres and artists as examples and sources of inspiration, and continue creating in ever greater variation.

We don’t dictate. We TEACH.

It’s lovely to meet you! ^_^

14/09/2012 at 02:52

Hello and Welcome Estelore!

We would like to keep this thread solely as a Newcomer Welcoming thread.

If you would like to explain your business and carry on a conversation about it please post in our “ART” section here on the forums.
You are welcome to make a thread about it.
We also have a Special Ops Division dedicated to music.

Thank you! ^.^

14/09/2012 at 02:57

Also Hello and Welcome Midnight!
Feel free to start playing some forum games and look around.
You may also want to check out our live chat sometime.
Let someone on our team know if you need any help!:)

19/09/2012 at 01:58

Ello to all, my name is Tristen and commonly go by my internet name “Oraeni.” I currently live in a small town in Montana, not exposed to much movements and media and alike, so I try to liven things up there whether it be dressing up in Steampunk outfits or costumes of other sorts. I came across the whole Utopian Playland idea around half a decade ago but never had a chance to take a closer look until I rediscovered it later. I am currently a Junior in High School and will be trying to major in Visual Arts when I go to college!

19/09/2012 at 02:10

Welcome Lt. Artifex! Glad to meet you!

19/09/2012 at 03:11

Welcome new soldiers, Salutations to you all.

19/09/2012 at 19:16

Hello, name is Alida Brocklehurst. I’m new (as of today) and would love to know if anyone is in the Washington area. :)

25/09/2012 at 18:36

Hello and welcome to all our lovely new recruits!

02/10/2012 at 22:15

I have no idea if the toy soldiers are as active as back in the Doc’s day, but I just signed back up since I joined before his retirement.

To me having fun is a very important aspect of life. I’m a steampunker who wears a pair of brass goggles almost everywhere I go.

02/10/2012 at 22:17

Yes we are Kuri! Glad you could re-join us! Welcome! :D

02/10/2012 at 22:28

I am brand spanking new, and by that I mean I was introduced to the good doctor on Sunday, and just joined the site today. A good friend suggested I give it a look, said it seemed like the place for me, and I’d have to agree.

My nickname here in town has always been Hermes, and that isn’t changing anytime soon, so that or Zephy are both good to call me by. I’m a very energetic guy, and so anywhere I go…prepare for someone far too awake and active, at all times.

It’s in my about me, but you said to tell you about ourselves here too, so why not: I’m a gamer. Not necessarily electronic ones, but board games, card games, playing cards, etc. I love them, especially when an element of luck is involved. I carry a deck of playing cards at all times, just to challenge strangers that seem bored enough to games of things, seeing if I can maybe even just get some Go Fish going. I don’t know what it is, but it’s a good feeling to play a game with someone.

So yes, that’s me, and it’s most likely going to be a pleasure to meet you, possible future person that replies to this message!

02/10/2012 at 22:34

Hello Hermes, Welcome to TSU! Make yourself at home! You sound like a fun person, we like that!;) I think it’s safe to say we all Love games too!
*hands you a cookie*

02/10/2012 at 22:38

Dear gods you’ve offered me sugary goodness. I bow to ye, oh sugar-supplying overbeing!

Uhh…I mean yes, well, thank you for the cookie. *swallows*

As you all well should! Games not only allow you to create fun ways to compete, but they also have these beautiful rules you can bend. It’s like a game within a game!

02/10/2012 at 23:50

8-O He took the cookie!
All too easy…*rubs hands together* 8)

02/10/2012 at 23:58

I always take the cookie. Why, what is life without a little risk Everything you do is all part of a grand experiment, and you must attempt all possible routes towards new data.

Oh. I also like SCIENCE

03/10/2012 at 00:21

HERMES! I’m so glad you joined.
Oh, and HELLO, JET! :)

03/10/2012 at 00:32

Hello Miss Lulu! :D

03/10/2012 at 03:46

Ah, would that be you, lovely little Pathosis~? I was waiting for you to find me!

Alas, I have been discovered! So, I’m thinking about reapplying for seasonal work again this year at a craft store. Last year, I managed to get “No dancing in the isles” and “No soliloquy in front of customers” put into the employee handbook, which made me very proud. This year I’ll shoot for skipping, singing, and general merrymaking. Think I can do it?

09/10/2012 at 12:24

welcome any and all new toy soldiers to the TSU! and Hermes with a record like yours so far i think you can manage your new goal. :)

09/10/2012 at 22:13

I had enlisted in the TS a while back…didn’t keep up with it, as my fraternity (Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia) ended up taking up all of my time instead. Now that I’m in the UK for a study abroad, I apparently have a bit of free-time (who woulda thunk, right?), and so I wish to spend it wisely by bringing happiness to a foreign place.

In my non-reading time, I am a trumpeter, composer, and writer; the arts have a very high place with me.

Here’s hoping I can meet most of you!

09/10/2012 at 22:24

Welcome back, Rag!

17/10/2012 at 08:44

Hello, I am sort of new. I made an account on here awhile ago, I also have been listening to the music for a long time. But I haven’t really gotten into any of this until recently. I am Courtney, and I am from Las Vegas (:

17/10/2012 at 13:47

Greetings commander Cat. Glad you found your way out of the storage bay. :)

17/10/2012 at 17:19

Commander Cat, so glad you’re out of the bag! Welcome Back!

Sgt. Voltor:
Commander Cat, so glad you

18/10/2012 at 09:39

Hello; Bebop here. While I like “creative” things like drawing, painting, writing, etc., science is fun too. I like observing microbes despite being all thumbs with the microscope.

It’s a pleasure knowing this site is up. ^^”

18/10/2012 at 18:31

Welcome Bebop! I implore you to check out our R&D facility for science related goodness, located next to Conference Room 4. :)

28/10/2012 at 23:17

Newbie with the Toy Soldiers :-o I have know about you guys for sometime but not joined. I am currently doing a creative activism module at university and want to promote the Toy Soliders ideas as part of my module. Any advice about how to do this?

29/10/2012 at 19:38

Heyo. names Dakota, just call me Dragoon if you want. Lemme know if anyone is in the Gaston County area of North Carolina. Not much use, but hey, I do what I can. And what I do is sit about and say ‘I’ll do it later’ like the good procrastinator I am.

30/10/2012 at 22:14

My name is Karma, and I am 16 years old.
I dwell within London, and only recently found out about the army from their stall at MCM Expo.
I will fairly soon be spreading propaganda throughout my entire school, consisting of about 1400 people. Tee hee.
I enjoy all things Sciency, and I also like drawing things.

30/10/2012 at 23:45

Helloooo, I’m Terminal Nostalgia, an 18 year old Brit with nothing interesting to say XD

Old but, silent Toy soldier reporting in. I just recently learned of Dr. Steel’s retirement, while my heart is pained that there will be no more from our glorious leader. I have discovered this place and am now reporting in that hopefully that he will rescind retirement if the stars align.

03/12/2012 at 23:33

Hello everyone. I just enlisted and am ready to spread Dr. Steels visions across the country of Bulgaria. Soldiers are truly few in numbers here, but we hope to help in the quest for world domination… I mean peace.

Introducing myself because it’s the proper thing to do.

I’ve only recently discovered Dr Steel’s music, and his talks and lyrics on human potential and transhumanism and all that really got my gears turning in the old head.

“The Amazing Montismo, Romantic Antihero & Gentleman Adventurer” is a persona I came up with years ago as a bit of a joke, but mainly to ease the stress of everyday life through make-believe. I used the persona as a refuge from bad relationships and sour friendships, and then decided that if could actually BE that person, then those problems could be sorted out more or less permanently. Because, you know, I had unconsciously decided at some point to assume the persona of the person who made bad decisions about lifestyle and social circles.

I don’t know I’ll post a lot here, but I wanted to join the site to see what more was going on and available about Dr. Steel and his music and ideas.

20/12/2012 at 19:49

and name is very important, it should be symbolic to the owner because a name tells us who we are. what ever you chose to be known as here is your own buissness :D so lets all give a warm welcome to The Amazing Montismo, Romantic Antihero & Gentleman Adventurer!!!

24/12/2012 at 22:52

Hello, I am Flare by N-N-E , I did my best (given the circumstances) to come up with a representative name, but I have no idea what it represents specifically (at least not at a conscious level), so feel free to speculate.

I hope to be able to contribute to the vitality of this community and make the world a less depressing place

28/12/2012 at 00:40

‘lo!  I’m Sinphonite, a very longstanding alias I’ve used for the last 12 years.  I was introduced to Dr Steel’s music a few years back but never really looked into him beyond the music until recently.

I’m looking forward to running missions and being an active new Toy Soldier.  I love making things, and it’s always pleasing to find new ways to brighten moods and days.

Thank you much!  I’m incredibly pleased to be here.

If the nearby copy shop can print the boxes for me, I’m going to spend tomorrow baking a few dozen white chocolate toffee chip mind control cookies for work.

29/12/2012 at 20:46

Good day to you, I’ll keep things short as I came to stand with you around a week ago.

My name is James, but you can call me Zeen unless you wish to be formal, then it’s Pvt. Zeen.

Why? As a newcomer can be no commander, not in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong; the concepts and philosophy are clear, and witnessing those under it is nothing but an inspiration. I shall do my utmost to do my part to have us leave out mark on this fair Planet, universe, system. Everything using my basic skills of the mind, be it science, imaginative qualities, or emotion – to a lesser degree.

Mark my words in the coming days –  I’ll make you all proud!

29/12/2012 at 21:08

*looks over the fresh meat*

mmm I believe they’ll do nicely.

Welcome new soldiers

01/01/2013 at 12:28

Hello, fellow recruits.

I have loved Dr. Steel’s works for years, but never looked further into him and the community he inspired.

I am mightily impressed and pleased to say the least, hopefully being able to meet and converse with a group whom value many of the same values that I do, many inspired and spurred by the music and propaganda of Dr. P.W. Steel.

The alias ‘McCheesums’ has been mine for many years now, so if you see it anywhere, it’s me.

Hoping this community can fit me, as many others don’t.

We’ll see.

01/01/2013 at 16:48

Dia gwitch!  :D

I’m Vee.  I’ve known about the Toy Soldiers for quite some time, but never really got involved. Well, I figured it’s time for a change -so here I am!

I’m located in the East Valley, that’s in Arizona.  If anyone wants to get together and work on missions or have a few beers, let me know.  :D

06/01/2013 at 17:58

Greetings to some, salutations to others!

This is Red Eye Tony, signing in. Just your average steampunk mad philosopher, making the impossible possible, the possible impossible, and the necessary incoherent. If you need a proof that being Fun is more important than being Good or that Activity is Existence (no, not the other way around) or any other weird idea that pops up, I just might have something in the vault that could use dusting off.

06/01/2013 at 21:34

Welcome Red Eye Tony. Cant wait to see what you’ve got to bring to us.

07/01/2013 at 05:29

Red Eye Tony, you sound fun!

Hello and Greetings from a founding member of Praetor Laboratories ( )

In my mission to change the world, I find Dr. Steel’s advice and propaganda to be very inspirational.

My labcoat will be designed after his.

I have wanted to be a toy solider since Fibonacci Sequence was first posted on Albino Blacksheep.

Do you know where I can buy the albums online?

I’m also looking for where to get logos and other HQ images to incorporate into decorations in the lab, I don’t want to recreate everything in vector art if I don’t have to.

15/01/2013 at 00:18

I met a few of you at the HRMSteam convention in Longbeach this past weekend and they convinced me to join up.  Im Will, originally from Oklahoma and I now live in New York.

16/01/2013 at 00:26

OH HO! Awesome new experi-I mean, FRIENDS! Yes, awesome new friends. Welcome all! Just stay out of Voltor Enterprises if you want to remain human. I’ve been working on mechanical prostetics, and have yet to find test subjects…

19/01/2013 at 17:07

Hi! My name is Peekaboo and right now I am groupless as I live in a state that, as far as I know, has been left to it’s own. Does anyone know if there are fellow toy soldiers in South Dakota that I could meet?

20/01/2013 at 00:08

Ooh, we used to have others from South Dakota, but I don’t think we have any longer. That means you’ll have to recruit some!

20/01/2013 at 08:18

Hello all,
For now, I must reside under the alias of my laboratory, Presentteck labs. I go by presentteck most places on the net, including my youtube. My true alias reveal itself in due time. (no offence)

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, I’m having a great one having discovered Dr Steel, but it’s a bit crushed for the obvious reason of his retirement… I feel i missed out. :(

Who am I: The local mad scientist in my parts, Oregon, Willamette valley.
Electricity, Fire, Plasma, Alternative energy, a combination there of… you name it.

  How I cam here:

well, This popped up in my news feed yesterday.

I was intrigued and started searching, I find him to be a like minded individual…
One could say I’m a bit of a mad scientist and musician myself, though more the first than the latter.
That said, being a man of science as I am, I cant see myself joining the ranks of an army. It’s just not my place, however, collaboration seems a strong possibility.

I saw There are some events in california, I work there in the summer. Maybe I can stop by.
In case you’re wondering, Berkeley CA, and the job is making fuel from wood.

…For the last time it’s NOT a STILL!
sorry, people always ask that, think i’m doing something illegal.

check it out for yourself, look up “All Power Labs”

Have a great day everyone, I’ll see if I cant help on the entertainment front soon.

Hello, Soldiers! I’m not exactly new, but I am recently active. LamentsConfiguration, or Lament, at your service! I live in Texas, but I’m in school in Missouri, so any locals should send me  a message!

I’m a major scifi-steampunk fan, totally artsy-farsty, and a little bit absent minded. I’ve done a few missions from before the site was rebooted, but they’re gone now, so I don’t know if they still count?

I’m also a bit of a fandom freak, so if you ever want to chat about 80’s horror movies, X-Men, Transformers, Marvel/DC, or anime, just send me a message! Nice to finally be an active, recruiting member!

23/01/2013 at 18:52

Welcome back! If Sci-fi, comics, and such are an interest of yours, may I recommend you check out the Geeks who broke the Podcast series that Captain Mayo and Commissioner Kraken produce:

27/01/2013 at 00:19

Hi, I joined awhile back and now think it’s high time to do things as a Toy Soldier as it’s a new year.

I live in Cornwall, UK. Into dolls, anime, manga and comics. I play a lot of WoW, The Old Republic and the Secret World. Just recently joined the 501st Legion and a LARP group called Lorien Trust. I like both steampunk and lolita too.

27/01/2013 at 01:36

I was very interested in Secret World from their promo videos. I alas, do not have the time to commit to a game like that, nor do I have a machine that could run it.

As for the 501st, did you build your own armor?

Welcome back!

27/01/2013 at 03:01

It’s a good game, I enjoy it. I’m playing as an Illuminati.

For the 501st Legion more first costume will be an Imperial Officer but planning on a Royal Guard one day.

Thank you! Hoping to be more active in things these days.

28/01/2013 at 00:03

Hello! I just joined a few days ago. I’m really excited to be here! I already printed out a good amount of propaganda and I plan to do my first mission this week. Last year I moved from San Francisco back to SoCal and I really miss being involved in imaginative projects and events. Part of the problem is that I don’t have transportation which limits what I can do. So I was happy that Toy Soldiers can do things independently, although I hope to participate in any events and invasions I can. My main creative activity for some time has been sewing, especially making costumes. I can do a lot though, visual art, various crafts. Whenever I’m bored I like to make something or learn a new craft. I like pirates and go to various piratey events. I like pretty much anything that involves costumes (will be starting my uniform very soon!). I LOVE halloween. I like fandom, I am not afraid to show my total enthusiasm for everything that I love and I like people who do the same. whatever their interests may be. I like people who make life more than the routine, which attracted me to TSU. My heroes are Ray Bradbury and Tim Burton (also Ray Harryhausen and Forry Ackerman.) I am in college studying neuroscience, so future Mad Scientist here. I can’t wait to learn more about the Army and how I can contribute. Thank you for welcoming me and I can’t wait to meet you!

28/01/2013 at 00:27

Neuroscience? Wow, that is pretty impressive. Perhaps you help with our wetware to hardware link up in the Singularity Vault :]

Depending on where in SoCal you are, there are plenty of soldiers around you. I believe the Fibonacci Division covers your location.

Have a look around, if you have any questions there is always someone with an answer. It may not be the right answer, but an answer none the less ;]

Hello Toy Soldiers  I’ve been a fan of Dr. Steels music for a while now after finding him randomly in a YouTube search. I found a link to this site in the description of one of his songs someone posted and thought I would check it out. I’m not usulay a forum person but we shall see how this goes. I, personally  run a YouTube channel myself and once I figure out a good way to advertise this site, I will do so.

Hello, everyone!
My name is Sergeant Sugarplumb, and I am a new and very enthusiastic member of the Toy Soldiers Army! I havn’t gone through too much of life yet, but I hope I can brainwash the public with our good morals!

02/02/2013 at 20:11

Welcome Sugarplumb @ashdoll123!

Take a tour around the bunker, check Robot’s #5911 wheel barrow for snacks. If you have any questions, there is usually someone around here with an answer. :D

02/02/2013 at 22:38

Greetings fellow soldiers, the Copper Corvid reporting in.  I am a new recruit from North Carolina in the US and I am looking forward to working with you all.  I have begun trying to lay down some propaganda work to spread our message of pursuing passion and fun to help make over the world.  Now if only I could get these robots unboxed and in working order….anyone have an allen wrench and some uranium 238 for the reactor?

03/02/2013 at 03:15

Greetings and salutations.  I am Host, TS25707. Though I am something of a longtime member, I have never formally introduced myself or even interacted with any of you, for fear of imposing. Let’s see what there is to say about me…

I live in the area of Minnesota, in the United States. I am intensely interested in H.P. Lovecraft, particularly his Cthulhu Mythos. I love to read, though of late I have had difficulty focusing on it for long. I also play several games, though I am not very good at them.

I suppose that shall suffice for an introduction, lest I become too verbose.

If you ever wish to contact me for any reason (and I can’t imagine why you would), feel free to send me a message here. I try to check the site at least once a day.

07/02/2013 at 03:11

Ello everyone I’m Rage-O-Meter. I used to be Cpl. Myrdro back on my oldest account years ago but it’s nice to come back to my roots.

07/02/2013 at 04:18

Welcome back Solider, glad you could re-join us! ;)

:D *hands out cookies*

07/02/2013 at 04:22

Woohoo mind control cookies my favorite good thing my mind is so broken i can’t taste the control. (Fun fact: I’ve actually gone to many psychologists who wonder how i function it makes me smile.)

08/02/2013 at 04:13

Greetings and salutations to one and all!
My current situations is this: Living and working (with bankers in charge who lack vision and imagination) in a city called Edmonton and surrounded by the masses who have yet to realize the dream of building a utopian playland for all.
Looking forward to meeting the splendid folks here (well you don’t have to be perfectly splendid mind you).

08/02/2013 at 07:38

Aaaahh. The latest batch of new recruits. Look a little peaky. You better have been eating your gummi bears, soldiers!

Right, go scarper into the digital bunker, go explore, go learn! If you need anything, just ask any of the moderators or us administrators, we’re here to help and fix stuff.

08/02/2013 at 08:13

Welcome new fellows!

13/02/2013 at 07:27

Lets just jump right in shall we?
Greetings! My Name is Katorina, and I have been a long time follower of the army, and a big fan of the awesomness that sems to radiate from around it.

Finally decided to sign up, say hello and offer another set of willing hands to the cause.

I’m an australian. (please dont let me be the only one)

Im an artist, of all kinds. (drawing, sculpting, painting, music, singing, dance)

and I’m a pretty friendly person, can just be a little quiet till I learn my way around.

Lovely to meet ya’ll!

13/02/2013 at 09:08

Welcom Katorina. You’re most certainly NOT the only Aussie here. One or two pop into the chat and if you do a quick search using the top right hand search bar, you’ll find several more!

Mind control cookies to the left, NERF gun armoury is to the right, and down the hall Robot #2001 is fiddling with something that’s glowing green so I’d avoid it for the time being.

14/02/2013 at 04:09

well, this took longer for me to muster up so lets get started!

hello fellow TSU, i’m a full new soldier, fresh off the lot, full of nerf experiance. :D

as my name may say, i’m ken, nice to meet you all, and i consider my self an airship engineer, or general engineer, when i have the income i tend to never leave my projects till there completed!

i have already spread some prop sheets around school, stealthfully avoiding the camras and allying with teachers, i’m glad to have come to the website after finding out about it from a invashion of Disneyland when i happend to be in florida before returning to my home here in michigan :) i recently applied to join the michigan misfits devishion so…in short, i’m glad to be here :D now, lets all go have fun!…oh wait, for kickers, i’m only 17 so i hope to find some more local friends to invade and nerf fight with :D

15/02/2013 at 15:38

welcome aboard toy soldiers Ken and Katorina! i do hope you have lots of fun here!

Jade Valor, out.

19/02/2013 at 03:48

Hello all, my name is Mikey Picasso, I’m from Pittsfield MA, USA, hopefully moving to RI soon though!!  I’m new to the toy soldier regime, obviously, but my roommate has been a member for years and has successfully converted me.

In my spare time I practice my hooping skills, I will hopefully one day have enough money for a cyr wheel, if you don’t know what that is click here :) : .  I work as a phone operator for the deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired.

So yeah, that’s what I do and how I came to be here!

Thanks for reading, hopefully I’ll make some good friends to go out and spread the word of our worldwide conquest for a Utopian Playland with! :)

19/02/2013 at 14:54

@sir-humfry-cummington, Picasso,

Might I inquire as to who your roommate is? Also, welcome! Captain Mayo and myself are in your area. Perhaps with our powers combined we can reconstruct the Eastern Seaboard into a new great haven for Toy Soldiers!

Do you have formal circus or gymnastic training? It would be very cool to see you in a Cyr Wheel routine someday. How much does one cost?

19/02/2013 at 23:30

Her name is Morgan, she can’t remember her information to log in on the site though, if sh does I will most certainly tell her to send you a message!  I agree, the three of us can invade some local hot spots, tea, crumpets with licorice wands and chocolate frogs for dessert from the British store!

I don’t have any official training, but I would love to get some actual lessons.  Everything I know how to do with my hoop I’ve taught myself.  Cyr wheels run about 600.00$ to 1,000.00$ roughly.  I have a long way to go before I’m capable of that though, but in my Utopian Playland, I have that instead of a car.

20/02/2013 at 00:20

If she is unable to remember her log-on there is a recovery protocol:

7) What should I do if I forget my password?
Contact Toy Soldiers Unite by clicking the “Forgotten your password” link located beneath the login box, and it will be emailed to you.

21/02/2013 at 21:57

Hello. I’ve not had enough brave in me to sign up yet, but I have been a member in the heart for a few years now. I am 17 and I’m currently living in London.

I like drawing, learning (mostly Science and Languages), gaming, writing and many other stuff. I am completely interested in everything, so I hardly ever get bored. I have a vast amount of imagination and I know at least a little about everything. I like to read, too. I can get a bit anxious, but I am a friendly and caring person. I also tend to be a little bit crazy and people usually tell me that my body is young, but my mind has lived for centuries.

My role model has been Dr. Steel himself from ever since I heard of him and even though I don’t think I will ever participate in the music industries, my dream is to be a great scientist and become a great person and to help the people realise that our imagination is a gift. I currently study Science in my college. He motivates me and I will never give up. I don’t wish to copy Dr. Steel. I want to help him and make his ideas come to life. I want to help people realise that nothing is impossible, and that we can use our minds to make every little dream real. Even if it sounds weird or lethal, or maybe silly, it still deserves to be created. From since I realised my goal of life, I have been working on it and fighting for it. Anyone who asks I always tell them I want to be a Mad Scientist. I have many “impossible” plans wrote down in my notebook, which I am going to create. There are always some crazy ideas I’ve got with myself.

I hope I can help the Toy Soldiers make their dreams come true.
(And sorry if I really end up as a World Dictator and accidentally throw bombs and stuff at people. I tend to be evil.)

P.S: My native language is not English, so please forgive me if I made mistakes

21/02/2013 at 22:39

Professor @cruelkaposta Oplastik,

Welcome, the uranium is in the third door on the left, I think, then again, that may be the fuzzy room. Either way I think you’ll be pleased.

28/02/2013 at 21:06

I’m back! You probably don’t remember me (because I wrote just 1 post here :) ), but I’m back! So hello everyone again! (Expect some reports from Poland soon)

28/02/2013 at 21:42

I read many mangas and books(my fauvorite authors are: Edgar Allan Poe, Howard Philips Lovecraft and Andrzej Sapkowski). I always listen to music. I know many and many genres of music. I am a volunteer of Caritas.

Nice to meet you all. (My English is not very good so migth be errors in the message).

28/02/2013 at 22:15

Welcome to you two Polish oldiers, nice to meet you. And not to worry about your English, its better than how a lot of people in England speak :p

01/03/2013 at 06:55

Hello there! You may call me Glare. I’m a brand new Toy Soldier residing in Tennessee,  USA. I’m an observer rather than a participant in many situations, but the ones I do partake in I often devote myself to. I found out about the army through Doctor Steel’s music, which I have recently fallen in love with.

01/03/2013 at 18:25

Welcome to The Army of Toy Soldiers Amber! (That’s my sister’s name haha) Anyway welcome and have Fun!  :D

05/03/2013 at 03:25

Welcome, and good returns to all.

Even myself, as it were.

Though some won’t remember me, for I didn’t cause too much a stir in the group before…

As you can see…I’m a lot happier.:D

Hey, I’m Kingsley, or Kingz for short.

I’m a 16 British guy who lives in Norfolk. I only heard of Toy Soldiers through me seeing one of my brother’s bracelets which happened to be a Toy Soldier one. So me being curious, I decided to look online to see what you guys were all about!

I’m a very active kind of person, I won’t just sit about, I will go out and do things which I enjoy doing, for example, I longboard and play football or soccer depending on where you live.

I like to live by a “Live for the moment” sense of mind, if I have my mind set on something, I’ll do it which could be something ranging from a mission on here to jumping off a cliff.. However i don’t fancy jumping off a cliff anytime soon :D.

My dress sense is the typical teenager who skates: tie dye, topman tees, vans, parka jackets and a hell of a lot of skinny jeans! I also dye my hair quite a lot, my natural colour is dark brown however I’m currently bright red c:

Don’t be afraid to talk to me, I’m a really sociable guy most of time unless I’m really really tired!

Hello there!

I suppose I’d better acquaint myself with  everyone, so I can get a foothold in what I can do to help build the Utopian Playland.

Call me Emi or Jeaneth, either works. I live in the tiny province of Nova Scotia, Canada! Sadly, I’m not too sure if there’s a group of other Toy Soldiers here…But nonetheless, I’m happy to have joined the you!

I try to live every day by starting and ending happily, so I’m generally a friendly person. Just don’t irk me. You may lose a nose. Or hand.

My dress sense is pretty plain. Jeans, Tee-shirt and a loose hoodie. Of course, I’m mistaken as a guy a lot because of this…But, hey, it can be cold here. I need the hoodie.

I’d love to meet more of you guys here! Also, if there’s going to be a booth for the Toy Soldiers at Hal-Con of October this year, please tell me! I’d love to meet you c:

05/04/2013 at 19:51

Welcome Jeaneth, any questions just ask.

06/04/2013 at 01:07

Hello !

I’m a Mannerings and I think I was here before but it’s all new and so shiny. So yes hello.

What ho ! :D

06/04/2013 at 08:53

Ah, you again!

Welcome back to the ranks Mannerings.

I still have my Black Lantern ring.

06/04/2013 at 13:20

I do hope it’s still imbued with the luck giving powers I enchanted it with.

At least I think that’s what I enchanted the black ones with O.O

06/04/2013 at 17:35

Dont know, all I know is that it has teeth marks in it…

06/04/2013 at 20:07

who’s teeth marks?

09/04/2013 at 00:33

Not really a new face, just an old face revamped!

I was once known as Lt. Scout Janey Blaze, but she retired. A face that was used for the promotion of Dr. Steel and who had worked for promoting the ideals of the Utopian Playland had become jaded and no longer had fun as a part of this movement. I went back to being regular old Nyssa. I took a break from dance, modeling, and other parts of my life to just be. After a few months had gone by I went back to working on my career and found happiness and fun in this new persona I had created for myself: Kiddo. I was listening to the Doctor’s music and chatting with a friend of mine (a fellow former soldier) and realized how much I missed about this great group of people and thus Nurse Kiddo was born.

So, in a nutshell, I’m back. Leaving behind all that I did as a part of TSU’s past, I’m looking forward to the future, and have assumed a new role as a Nurse, to bring back the life and healthy vigor of my happiness and the happiness of those around me!

09/04/2013 at 00:53

Wow, welcome back, Kiddo!  Great to have ya back!  Seriously, I missed you!

09/04/2013 at 07:39

Hey I just made a new account, I was an active member way back in ’07. Sorry to hear of the good doctors forced retirement. I was wondering Do we have any active members (other than myself) in china? I moved here recently and was just wondering.

09/04/2013 at 08:11

Unfortunately no, and we’ve never been able to really check due to the great firewall. However, that means you’ve got your work cut out for ya!

14/04/2013 at 06:35

luckily the website isnt blocked so the locals an still see it. Looks like im on a mission of international recruiting.

14/04/2013 at 07:05

Awesome, Manny!  And welcome back!

Welcome Back Manny, and you stay safe out there.

02/05/2013 at 02:07

Greetings. I am Menedlaus Punta, a new Engineer from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I was told about this organization from a friend of mine who immediately got me addicted to the musical propaganda. My ways of thinking and beliefs may be different from a lot of you, and that is probably because you are to ignorant to realize our “true purpose.” I was told our goal was to obtain a Utopian Society, and that is what I am trying to obtain as well. Our goals are similar, so I am agreeing to follow your rules and accept your leadership. May our “mutual” partnership work out in both our favors.

02/05/2013 at 02:30

o.o.. You forgot the word “because” before “you are to (too) ignorant.”

 Anywhos..*hands you a cookie* Welcome Punta!Cool

03/05/2013 at 01:19

Welcome :D And keep in mind, all outlooks on life are welcome here, just as much as everyone around the globe is :)

03/05/2013 at 02:06

Hello! I am known by many names, but most call me Stabby. I signed up so that I could play a part in making the world a better place for all. I have intentions of being a nurse, but until I have a group to watch over, I will be acting as a scout for my region. I hope to become a helpful part of the Army of Toy Soldiers, and I plan on bringing many into the folds to be reeducated so that they will understand the importance of our endeavor~

03/05/2013 at 09:05

Hello Shank AKA Stabby. Good to hear such enthusiasm. :)

03/05/2013 at 18:02

Thanks! I’ve always tried to live my life in a way to help improve the quality of other peoples’ lives, and TSU seems like just the place for me!

04/05/2013 at 05:25

Greetings and Salutations i am glad to be apart of this growing community i hope to feel welcomed here and partake in the many interesting avenues given

04/05/2013 at 09:37

thank you ever so much for your kind generosity

05/05/2013 at 03:27

Greetings everyone!

Like a few people here on the forums, I knew of the Toy Soldiers and Dr. Steel for a little over two years.  I’ve only recently enlisted, though, and I’m glad to finally be a new Toy Soldier.

I am Gunnery Officer Kirby Grindgears, though I go by a decent number of nicknames (I’ve even forgotten a few over the years, sadly).  I live in Portland, Oregon, though mind will sometimes fly off to the land of dreams for a while.  I’m a computer engineering major, and an avid steampunk convention/pirate festival/renaissance faire attendee.  I’m very creative, though I can’t fully get the ideas out of my head, I’m always up to trying to think up something crazy and wondrous.  I hope that I can help contribute to making a Utopian Playland possible alongside all of you!

06/05/2013 at 05:08

*Gives welcome cookies to all the new recruits*

08/05/2013 at 01:58

Hello all, I am a new comer here and I am thrilled to have found this place. I hope I can become an important, active member of this army in the future!

08/05/2013 at 03:47

Hello, everybody. My name is Skullgrin. I learned about Dr. Steel through his music back in December 2012, and I’ve fallen in love with his voice and philosophy, it seems. However, I’ve been debating whether or not to join The Toy Soldiers for a while. Now that I’m actually here, I feel like I should’ve joined sooner…

Honestly, I don’t know which Division I’d be a part of, or if there’s even one in my area. I also don’t know how I could help spread the dream of the Utopian Playland, aside from telling my friends about it.

08/05/2013 at 15:48

Hello, fellow soldiers! Name’s Raz, from the (not so) cold north of Germany! The TF2 video of the medic performing “Build the robots” introduced me to Dr. Steel and the Army of Toy Soldiers! My favorite hobby is LARP and everything related to it (creating characters, outfits, props, stories etc.) and I prefer “heavy music”, as well as Industrial.

Larp and industrial you say? Germany you say? I have a feeling we’ll get along perfectly :D Welcome!

09/05/2013 at 14:29

Yay! New people!  Welcome, new people!

13/05/2013 at 08:04

Greetings, fellow soldiers!

My name is Doctor Clockwork, and I’m probably the only Toy Soldier located behind the Orange Curtain–better known as Orange County, California.
My interests include anime, obscure comic books, science fiction, fantasy, roleplaying games, and horror. I’m a professional stage magician, and having developed a recent interest in steampunk am going to combine the two by performing Victorian stage and platform magic.

Be prepared for all manner of steampunk weirdness and missions from beyond the fringe!

13/05/2013 at 08:30

Salutations Doctor Clockwork. I think you’re going to fit in just fine here. :D

13/05/2013 at 10:10

Hello, my name is Fritz Grimm and I´m from good old Germany. My interests include RPGs, chess, Fantasy and SciFi, Steampunk and Cyberpunk. I like all kind of things that are somehow obscure or weird and I´m also very fond of black humor. So, I hope I´m at the right place and I can help to build an Utopian Playland.

13/05/2013 at 11:52

Welcome, fellow German :D

I can see we will be able to form a division soon!

14/05/2013 at 08:45

Hi Lt. Sophie,

thanks for the welcome. I would love to see a German divison of the toy soldiers

17/05/2013 at 21:12

Hi! my name is Tredecim! Reporting for duty! I came to be a Toy Soldier after watching Doctor Steel, i have wanted to be one for a while but had never had the initiative to help build the Utopian Playland. I am often described as childish, and my interests include, drawing, painting, having fun, reading comics (any kind), watching anime, playing my flute, ocarina, shaku haichi, and guitar, and singing. I am a Traceur, but i also do some freerunning.

Also, i love cookies!

18/05/2013 at 00:50

Welcome new soldiers. It’s good to have you aboard. Be sure to check out our IRC channel and keep us posted on what you’re doing. The better we stay connected, the more fun we’ll have.

Also, consider looking into special interest divisions for more specialized fun. GAME is a wonderful group for anybody who enjoys playing games with others, and I’ve still got one slot open for Fiasco tomorrow ^_^

20/05/2013 at 11:38

Hi, New to the toy soldiers here, trying to decide what kind of soldier/nurse/scout/engineer i should be – any advice?

I am in Nottingham england.

20/05/2013 at 11:52

Hi there Vicky! Welcome! Chosing a regiment is entirely up to you and you can always change if you want. People tend to choose their regiment based on what they already do. If you’re a tinkerer or maker of stuff, engineer. If you love helping others, nurse tends to be the way. Scouts are great for anyone who love travel (perhaps? Dunno, it’s a new idea really). And regardless of what you choose, everyone is a Toy Soldier by being part of the Army.

24/05/2013 at 20:31

Ello everyone! Tinker here!

I enjoy drawing, writing….. all kinds of artistic fascinations really. I’m very artistic and I hope that eventually I can master the art of welding so I can make my own metallic creations. I am constantly thinking up all kinds of new and strange creatures so if anyone ever needs help creating a monster I’m your grrrl! (yeah… I know that pun was BAD. I have a tendency to use those often.)

03/06/2013 at 00:09

Hello Everyone!

My name is Taylorwailer, but I am known as Mad God on many sites.

I am a 23 year old female and I love playing videogames, watching nature documentaries, hanging out with my family (for an hour or so xD) and taking walks while blaring music. Anything to help me forget the harshness of reality for even a short time.

I’ll be honest… I’m quite nervous about becoming a part of something real as I have social anxiety and have never joined anything in my life. TSU seems to be a lot of fun though and I am hoping to check out things around the London, Canada area.

I’m already super excited for a button and a badge to parade around. ;D

Nice to meet you all~!

03/06/2013 at 00:27

Welcome :D

Mad God eh? Should we call you Sheogorath? :p

03/06/2013 at 01:13

or how about “bolgoroth of coolswordsoroth”? *weak laugh* please tell me someone got the reference.

03/06/2013 at 15:39

Haha! Well “Maddie” is usually the nickname I get called, but sure! I don’t mind being Sheogorath either. :P

And… and… I’m sorry Tinker. I could cheat by using Google though. xD

03/06/2013 at 23:31

That’s ok. It was an old joke from that web-show Homestar Runner. I’m not surprised no one got that joke.

04/06/2013 at 23:25

Hello there.

My Name is Crebane. (pronounced Kree-Bane, not with a girly “s” sound for the manly “C”.

I am new here. I have been aware of TSU for quite some time, but have only just joined. I look forward to helping in the grand scheme of building a Utopian Play-land.

I come form New Zealand, which is a nice place, but rather dull really. I think it needs some of the fun that can be supplied by the Toy Soldiers. and so, I have decided that it must be my mission to bring it to the masses. I shall start small, with Operation Bookmark.

I look forward to having some fun.

C :D

11/06/2013 at 19:58

Welcome Crebane, nice to have some soldiers on the other side of the globe, I think the closest we have to you is Coffee Pirate in Australia. Hope you can recruit some cohorts for fun and shenanigans down there.

20/06/2013 at 11:33

Hello, all.

I am Mr. Novel. I am but a humble new recruit to the Nurse/Medic regiment and to TSU as a whole. I bid you a fond hello from the no longer peaceful suburbs on the outskirts of the once great Motor City. Er, Detroit, rather. I found Dr. Steel’s works quite a while back, yet somehow I have only just now stumbled upon this wonderful little community. I look forward to getting to know some of you and helping to further the dream of a Utopian playland.

20/06/2013 at 15:36

Hello; I’ll be going by Grimalkin hereabouts, although my legal appellation is considerably less cool. I can be found in Seattle, often in clubs of ill-deserved dubious repute. I enjoy fixing things, whether it be machines or people, and I often break into song at little or no provocation.

That’s all that comes to mind currently. I suppose message me if you’re interested in knowing more. :-)

20/06/2013 at 17:07

Welcome to the Army of Fun, new recruits!

21/06/2013 at 04:34

Salutations and good wishes comrades. :) The name is The Praetorian Bard, a play off of “praetorian guard” (although I only realized that worked after I chose the name). Anyway, I am a rather devoted brony, a decent writer, a baker of cakes and other confections, and I dabble in both wood- and metal-working. I am currently working on a wooden gameboard and thinking about making a peanut butter cake. Oh yeah, I live in central Wisconsin and I love the cold. Like, sub-zero cold; hardcore cold.

I can’t wait to get to know you all and start spreading the love and dominating the planet.

21/06/2013 at 17:13

Hello Penblade! You have cake?…

29/06/2013 at 14:31

Greetings my friends! I am known as Apprentice, so called because of my young age, and one of only three known toy soldiers in Indiana for some reason, all of us being siblings. I am adept in the art of rambling for far too long and saying nothing but complete nonsense (an art I have learned from the masters of this craft), am relatively good in a leadership role, and would also like a slice of the promised delicious cake.

29/06/2013 at 19:26

Hello Apprentice!  You’ll find cake in the kitchen on the counter under the glass.  Plates are in the cabinet labeled PLATES, and forks are in the FORKS drawer, between the SPORKS and SPOONS.

29/06/2013 at 21:25

Many thanks, Voltor! The cake was tasty, and tasted oddly (but not unpleasantly) of nutmeg.

So how come theres no division for nyc/tri-state yet? Not that I’m volunteering to start one, mind

26/07/2013 at 10:09

Greetings Internet Travelers!

Normally I’m not one to introduce myself on websites but I figured that I needed new minions…err…people to talk to.  I was enlisted on the old toy-soldiers website and didn’t regularly post there so imagine my surprise when I found out that the old website had been revamped.  I hope to be more involved this time around.

I love robots, steam-punk, diesel-punk, and science fiction in general.  My favorite authors are Ray Bradbury and Author C. Clark.  I’ve always thought of myself as having been born into the wrong century or world since my way of thinking is pretty abstract and far-out compared to that of my peers.  I feel as if I should have been born either a thousand years into the future where those robots and humanity as possibly realized some of it’s mistakes, or, I should have been born into an alternate universe where the world is more steam-punk or diesel-punk oriented.  Either, planet Earth is far too boring for my liking so I would like to give it that special something that it has been missing for far too long.

I hope to become active in a movement that is destined to change the world and bring back meaning to the word “Fun”. :D

26/07/2013 at 10:28

Welcome back then ! We’re all from another millennium =D

26/07/2013 at 17:55

I LOVE new friends!  Especially old Soldiers who have come back to us!  It’s AWESOME!:D

04/08/2013 at 01:17

Hello, Guys and Girls! :)

My name is Arleanis but you can call me Dea, I’m from Venezuela. I’m very happy to get back in the community and rejoin the army of fun! ^ _ ^
I Participated here in 2009-2010, but not in full, I hope this time get back to stay! :)
For people who don’t know me, (I mean the whole community xp) I’m a arts lover, student of plastic arts, I design clothes and I do webcomics x) I’m very fan of goth music: post-punk, darkwave, etc… I also like subjects related with sciences, anatomy and astronomy. <3
Well, I hope have fun with you and make new friends.

Greetings and a kiss to all of you! :)

Excuse me if I have grammatical errors, the english isn’t my natal language.

05/08/2013 at 07:11

YAY!  Welcome back, comrade!  Glad to have you with us once more!

05/08/2013 at 23:32

Su’cuy gar!

Music lead me to the Toy Soldiers a long while back, but at the time I was far too young to attend any events, invasions, or whatshagibawotsits of any kind or nature. Now, that is not the case, and may the world quake in its wee booties for it.

Anyways, Corporal Joker here, though most people call me Chief. I’m a /huge/ Star Wars fanboy, to the extent of attempting to live my life in accordance to the Mandalorian Resol’nare. Yeah. Seriously, wee bit of a fanboy.

I live in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England, and list my hobbies as Writing, reading, playing RPGs and other videogames, roleplaying through many different mediums, and building and painting Warhammer 40k armies in the only colours they should be painted in. Black, and yellow.

06/08/2013 at 14:22

HI my name is T.A from the netherlands (the name comes from my favorite spider)

it’s a honor to join in the cause of our great army of fun!

06/08/2013 at 16:03

Welcome :D

TA: we don’t need a new division even though it might seem a bit inactive, there are other active dutch people here.

16/08/2013 at 18:02

Ok so im totally not new. But im back after a long time.
commandant beeaker is the name. Former division leader, madman, and lots more. I got some big things in the works for the army. Its really good to be back. Not a day goes by I don’t think of something new to do with or for the TSU.

09/09/2013 at 21:46

Elve here, ready for battle!

Right, so how shall I introduce myself?

People call me ‘the Insane’… probably will become obvious why
I’m a musician, a poet, a writer, a warrior, and much more
I hail from a kingdom called the Netherlands (oh I’ve always wanted to speak like that!)

I’ve lived for 22 season cycles (that is years!)… at least, that’s what I’ve been told
I currently study to become an engineer (wooptidoo)

Bit of shameless advertising of my ‘art-y side’:

I think that concludes my introduction :)

10/09/2013 at 01:15

Hello and Welcome Elve! Sounds like you are gonna fit right in!wink

*hands you a cupcake* cool

11/09/2013 at 17:41

People who are crazy think they aren’t crazy.  I know I’m crazy therefore I’m not crazy.  Isn’t that crazy?  Welcome Elve, you’ll make a fine Soldier!wink

11/09/2013 at 18:38

Welcome Elve, always good to see more Dutchies!

At which engineering school do you study? I do ESE at the HAN.
If you’re interested, we’re planning a pub meeting, but EngineerAirhead will probably have told you that. If you’re interested, ask him to add you to the facebook event!

13/09/2013 at 14:55

Welcome to all new toy soldiers (and we got quite a few!)  youll all do just fine! especially if you have just a touch of insanity!

14/09/2013 at 20:21

Might as well post here, otherwise I’ll be lurking :) , not new to the TS, just had about a years absence, as I was under impression that the Army went with the Good Doc, and so I hung up my uniform and stored my Propaganda, and went back to a boring life. Luckily, a chance decision to head off to MCM Expo Manchester has me talking to a Toy Soldier, who informed me the Army marched on, and I was missing out. So I rushed home, signed up, and am now once more converting the unsuspecting people of my hometown :)

14/09/2013 at 22:13

Welcome back sir!

15/09/2013 at 17:19

How is it possible for me to be a soldier… But not introduce myself!!!

Whelp… Here it is :)

As a soldier for 2 months, some of you might know me for making fun in the live chat and on the facebook group page.
And most of you might have seen my share in digital propaganda!

I’m a web-developer from the lower lands (Netherlands) who likes to spend time with friends and do random stuff.

Feel free to poke me on the chatroom (if I’m online)!

15/09/2013 at 18:33

Welcome back, Storm!  And welcome Engineer Airhead!  It seems your name is befitting someone who’s been here for two months and is just now posting in the Welcome New Soldiers thread.laugh

20/09/2013 at 05:48

Hello Soldiers I am Oveon a returning soldier I suppose after having joined, but have life pull me away. I hope you all find good life, and peace.

Shatter Hammer!  Welcome back!  Wow, so many old Soldiers returning to the army.  GMH. ^_^

25/09/2013 at 19:49

Not exactly a new member but gone long enough to forget my old name here. Life and high school graduation got the better of me about 2 years ago, but stumbling across TSU stuff brought me on back no matter the circumstances. Here’s to building the utopian playland. :D

25/09/2013 at 21:31

WOOt more returning soldiers.

26/09/2013 at 15:59

It seems we also need a Welcome Back thread on top of the New Soldiers thread.  This is awesome that so many Soldiers are returning!laugh

26/09/2013 at 16:25

Hello all this is Eidus returning soldier and now specialist thanks to a temporary enlistment in a different military. It feels good to be back all!

27/09/2013 at 07:25

Welcome aboard, brave new Soldiers and a hearty salute to all returning Soldiers!

27/09/2013 at 17:09

Eidus!  Welcome back, comrade!

29/09/2013 at 22:34

really nice to see more from NL to invade here! ^^ i can’t wait!

05/10/2013 at 00:58

Shalom, random people! I am a new follower of Dr. Steel, and I wish to expand my exploratory surgery services to aid him in his world domination! I plan to invade at an upcoming convention sometime soon if I am permitted and it does not interrupt my legally obligated brainwashing ritual, also known as “public intermediate school”. I am not fully informed on the doings of the TSA, and I would very much appreciate a summary of the workings of this site. :)

I am located in the vicinity of the great city of Atlanta, so please recommend any divisions I could possibly contact. Thank you~!

05/10/2013 at 14:10

Welcome to the great Army of Toy Soldiers, Follia Fenezulo!

First and foremost I should inform you that the good doctor himself has retired, and is no longer the leader of the army. However since his retirement, the Toy Soldiers continued to spread his message and to make over the world into a Utopian playland!

The menu on the top of the site will get you through all the different parts of the digital bunker, it’s all pretty straightforward.

Here in the forums you can hang out, have discussions with fellow soldiers, post art / propaganda and plan invasions. In the propaganda section you’ll find everything you need to get started mindcontrolling your peers. Hang out in the chat sometimes when you want a more direct talk with some of the members, or when you are looking for some shenanigans.

Have a complimentary cupcake, and enjoy yourself!

08/10/2013 at 00:46

HI. Well I’m officially a toy soldier now. been registered for a while, but work and classes take me away from being able to do things so this is the first chance I got to write.

other than that it is hard to describe my self.

but I plan on infiltrating Fl. Miami supercon this year. wish me luck.

(also thought just popped in my head, we need a programmer to make robot smileys.)

08/10/2013 at 00:52

Welcome Ken!  You sound like a really cool dude!  Glad you’re on our

08/10/2013 at 04:12

Hello! I’m new here….I really have nothing interesting to say. But, hello once more!

10/10/2013 at 01:27

Greetings, comrades of 2037!  I bring news of my historical research into the year 2013, the year that the utopian play land revolution began!  Well, at least that’s what we though.  I went back there in my time machine and it’s really not what the vacation pamphlet advertised.  Turns out, in 2013 the Army of Toy Soldiers was still small, but the great toy philosophers and engineers were already in place, hard at work building the base that overlord Miley Cyrus would later stand on as she took over the world with dancing teddy bears.  If not for the hard work of the Toy Soldiers who were secretly *link removed*, the great American empire would not have fallen and created opportunity for overlord Cyrus to lead us to fill the power vacuum with happiness.

Also, there was some kind of earlier leader that the Toy Soldiers used to mourn the loss of back in 2013… Dr. Steel?  I don’t remember hearing about him at all before I went back in time.  The propagandists must have erased him from the history books for some reason.  I’m sure it was for a good reason.

10/10/2013 at 01:55

Hello new soldier, Welcome to TSU!

I see you have a funny story going on here. We encourage the creativity..however..let me just add that if we did have a Miley Cyrus around here, chances are she would get baked into some cupcakes and served to our foes. just sayin..

While you are new here I suggest you read our Rules & Regulations about our site.

Rules & Regs

We do not permit posting of any political links or sites as we strive to keep that kind of ugliness and prejudice out of our website. So your link has been removed. Thank you for understanding.

10/10/2013 at 02:12

Aw, sorry about that.  I was just gonna make a joke about the government never reopening and the Toy Soldiers filling the void under the leadership of Miley Cyrus.  Wasn’t trying to upset anybody, just wanted to make a silly joke.  I just saw the 2037 option in the sign up page and couldn’t resist playing with a time travel joke.

10/10/2013 at 02:41

It’s it’s quite alright good sir! We encourage you to continue to be creative.

And JET I demand the Miley Cyrus cupcakes happen!! We must be rid of the evil one!kiss

10/10/2013 at 02:56

You’re cool Michael! Just some fyi for ya! Tiz my jerb. wink

Also, I seem to now remember you on here a few years back. So welcome back! Glad you could join us again. Let me know if you need any help around here getting to know the place. smile

@Mayo….yez..*rubs hands together* cool

10/10/2013 at 02:58

Can they be Wrecking ball cake pops with Miley pics on them? Or sledge hammer shaped?

10/10/2013 at 03:35

What’s with the Miley Cyrus hating, nothing wrong with her that some vocal cord amputation and chemical re-education can’t solve.

Hello fellow soldiers. A brand new toy soldier here in the Manassas, Virginia area!

Just recently found Dr. Steel and the TSU (like yesterday recently), and felt it to be a good organization to devote my abilities.

Quick bit about me:

-I love to tinker, break down, build back up, and create new toys for my amusement (I love the whole Toy aspect of this culture, fits me well).

-I am an amateur philosopher (would have gone to school for it, if it weren’t for the inherent brainwashing in the classroom; what to think, how to think, etc…), which makes Dr. Steel stand apart.

-I am an audiophile, and have to have my music sound good.

Other than all of that, I am still trying to get a hang on this whole TSU thing, and am looking forward to getting to know other toy soldiers, and hopefully find people that will appreciate my creations as much as I.

16/10/2013 at 15:40

Hmm, you and I have a lot in common!  Welcome!  I’d be an audiophile if I could afford

16/10/2013 at 18:23

Its less of a cost issue, and more of a luck/ingenuity thing. I had a system in my old car that had two 12″ speakers, and a 1000 Watt amp, I didnt have to pay for anything, just picked stuff up over time. And I won a pair of beats solo headphones at work, sounds great, but I’m not spending 200 bucks on headphones lol.

18/10/2013 at 01:00

That’s what I do!  I have two old floor standing Knight speakers, and I took the old 12’s out and replaced them with Dayton Audio DC 300’s.  Sound great hooked up to the 15Wx2 Aiwa bookshelf system.wink  I knew there was something I liked about you!  Welcome to the best Army in the world!

28/10/2013 at 15:56

Engineer Brokkr reporting for duty for the first time, I look forward to serving with honor -Salute- now can someone point me to the forges? These goggles make it hard to see…

29/10/2013 at 04:42

I guess I should pop in and say hi. I’m Andrew/PullThePower/Shockwave/That one creepy dude who sits near me in art class. I live in CA and I hope to spread the ideals of the Utopian Playground through stickers and fliers. Even though I can’t assemble an outfit at this time, I plan to in the future. I enjoy a variety of games such as Minecraft, TF2 and Gmod. With my position as scout and my loveable, young face, I should have no problem telling people about our ideals. Either that or I’ll just spread it through the games I play.

29/10/2013 at 09:46

Welcome soldiers!

Smith Brokkr: The forge is located 3rd door down the hall, on your left, right next to the Nerf Armoury.

Here’s a pile of cookies to share around. *salutes*

29/10/2013 at 17:23

Hello! Engineer Mike Jaeger here!

I met a few of you at the MCM Expo over the weekend. I’m Mikey, Ed’s friend, I think you guys know him as Bear?

I love videogames, building modelkits/cosplay costumes and serenading people with my guitar and amazing vocal skills ^_^

Where are these cookies everybody keeps talking about?

29/10/2013 at 17:29

Welcome Mikey!  Cookies are in the kitchen…open a cupboard and you will more often than not find cookies.  *flips through your resume*  Hmm, impressive!  A toymaker and musician!  Wonderful to have you in the army!laugh

In that case, check out our store or the armoury. Lots of nice goodies there to throw your monies at.

14/11/2013 at 14:53

Greetings, Toy Soldiers! I am Viero. A 19 year old male aspiring game artist who also sometimes writes stories and designs new games.

I love making art (3D art to be exact) for games or just to bring parts of my world into this world. Which I always find to be the best way to mix the two together. Same can be said of writing stories.

I hope to serve this army well!

14/11/2013 at 15:58

Welcome to the TSU, Viero!

02/12/2013 at 22:31

Hi everyone! I’m Laura and new here. I’m 19, based in the UK and love fashion, reading, baking, crafting, sewing and video games. I feel like I’m far too late for this but what the hell.

10/12/2013 at 23:33

Greetings, Soldiars! I’m B.(or Baby Bee), and I am currently 3 days new to Dr. Steel’s music and to this site. I am young, and I have lots of young friends to

I am also a frequent traveler of the U.S.A, as well as an author, illustrator, artist, and event/group organizer and coordinator. I am VERY happy to be here, and proud to be a Toy Soldiar/Scout. I have soo many ideas and plans! I can’t wait to start, so I’m already working on my first mission: Recruit 10 newbees before 2014!smile

Wish me luck!

11/12/2013 at 01:53

New recruits!  We LOVE new recruits!  Welcome everyone!  We hope you enjoy your stay in the Army of Toy Soldiers!  I also might recommend liking us on Facebook, checking out our YouTube and Vimeo channels, as well as checking us out on deviant ART!smile

Welcome everyone!  :D

24/12/2013 at 05:35

Greetings everyone

My name is Tera. I live in Putnam CT. I am going the best Toy Soldier I can be to help the cause.

Not sure what Division is around me but will spread propaganda to help others enlist.

In my Utopia world the good Doctor is the ruler. Lots of toys perfectly made to suite everyones hidden desires. The clouds are made of cotton candy, lakes and rivers are that of a treat I am sure all will enjoy. Money is replaced by how happy one is and candy. No one will suffer homework. They will be required to watch at least 3hrs of there favorate program or party all night long. The class rooms will have beds instead of desks. Pillows made perfect for pillow fights for those who thinks rules are made to keep order.

Cant think of much more to say. I am naughty and nice. Kind to most.

After I make some sadistic cookies I will be working on my uniform and thank you for accepting me as a Toy soldier. I will not let the utopia hopes and dreams down.kisskisskisslaughlaughkiss

24/12/2013 at 05:39

Welcome Divine Shadow!  Make yourself at home! smile

26/12/2013 at 02:57

Hello my fellow soldiers!

I’m Private Arius Sparke, and currently division less engineer. I’ve been tinkering and toying around with things most of my life. I like to take things apart and put them back together (with varying amounts of success). Even though I’m young, my dream is to become a full fledged robotics prodigy, though this kind of thing is a lot harder than Dr. Steel made it look. But I know if I keep trying I’ll get there someday! It’s bound to happen!

Oh, gods, I think I smell something burning. If you’ll excuse me…. oh crap…!

26/12/2013 at 18:03

Practice makes perfect, Private!  Welcome!laugh

27/12/2013 at 02:57

Greetings Comrades. As it is labeled, I am Smithery Private Ferris Hammerton XIII. Even though my rank is not a real one, this rank of mine denotes of how I am hoping to start out my time here in the Army of Toy Soldiers. I hope to work and connect with, hopefully, any smiths that happen to have ranks here in the Army in order to learn from them. I hope to start exploring more of my short lived metal working time in High School. However, my interests are wide and varied and I have found many units that I would love to join, I’m just wondering if this is allowed? But I hope to get accepted into the Fighting 97th of New England and make merriment for the glory of the Utopian Playland! laugh

27/12/2013 at 03:33

*Salute* Welcome friend :)

27/12/2013 at 19:19

Yay for metal workers!  Welcome Ferris Hammerton XIII!

05/01/2014 at 05:52

A hearty Maine hello! laugh

I’m Serenity from Maine and I’m very happy to be a toy soldier!  As I am very new here I am still checking things out to discover how best to use my particular skill set to help make our utopian play land.  Any advice or direction would be most welcome.

Don’t forget to smile!wink

05/01/2014 at 09:03

Welcome Soldier!  What is your skill set?  Propaganda is always welcome.  The type of propaganda is up to you, be it a video, song, or

05/01/2014 at 17:05

Thank you Sargent for your warm welcome.  I am skilled in technical theatre, particularly in areas of design and costuming.  I have a few other minor talents as well as access to a wide variety of young open minds.

05/01/2014 at 19:34

Awesome!  Your first step should be to create your uniform!wink

I actually joined back in 2010 on the old site but was not really active.  It wasn’t until a couple of days ago that I found one of the Utopian Playground DVDs that I burned.  Watched it with couple of friends and decided to re-enlist.  In the process of making my uniform now just waiting on the patches to arrive (I think I might have an alternate use for my black Utilikilt).  I hope to be more active then I was in the past.

27/01/2014 at 07:38

Welcome back, Athrun!  So nice to have returning Soldiers!laugh

28/01/2014 at 08:53

Hello everyone! I am just another newcomer and wanted to read some of the forum threads so don’t mind me.

28/01/2014 at 08:59

Penguindor, people come for the threads, but stay for the cookies.  I’ve been here since 2009, and haven’t regretted a minute of it.  Welcome!laugh

04/02/2014 at 22:49

Hey there everyone! I’m MetallicSpirit, but you can just call me Spirit ^.^ I’m a new recruit here, signed up as a Nurse/Medic, and I’m more than happy to be here. Ever since I got into Dr. Steel, I’d always read articles and seen pictures of the Toy Soldier Army, but never really dove into it until yesterday. They always seemed so happy to spread the word about Dr. Steel and his vision of a Utopian Playland, so I decided to enlist because I wanted to be able to share that happiness with others.

As a new Medic recruit, it is my honor to provide joy (often in the form of doughnuts) to all of the existing members and recruits after me. It just brings me so much happiness to see smiles on people’s faces, I love it! I love helping others too, so if anyone needs to talk, I’d be more than happy to help :P

As for things I enjoy doing, I love working with computers, either fixing them or improving them. Gaming is a strong point, it’s how I spend a lot of my days, just playing games with friends. I adore nature and biking as well.

I already feel so welcome here after talking to some of the people in the live chat, so I really hope to make a home here, as well as make some new friends. Nice to meet you all!

05/02/2014 at 02:34

Welcome Spirit!  Glad to have you in the greatest Army in the Universe!smile

05/02/2014 at 08:25

Well my name is David 21 years old but still dream like a 12 year old XD I live in Virginia USA. I heard Dr Steel on Spoitfy and kind feel in love with his music sad it was so short lived but at least we still have TSU thank you for that.

05/02/2014 at 10:06

Welcome all new recruits *salutes*

12/02/2014 at 23:00

hi there, reportin’ from Russia (so my name is Natasha, of course). I’m 23 years old and almost every night I’m busy doing nothing when all work is done, that’s why I’m here. unfortunately, there’s no more active communities in our social networks (maybe they decided to follow Dr. Steel? so devoted.), so…

honestly, I don’t remember when I’ve found Dr. Steel’s stuff, but I’m still in love with his music. it gives me some power and inspiration to improve my (mad)skills or kinda like this. btw, I understand english much better than speak it, sorry for this.

12/02/2014 at 23:32

Hello and welcome mMth! *hands you some cookies*

Is it true that in Russia the fun has you? laugh

We do love the docs music! Never herd a song of his I didn’t love! Only wish there was more..but I get greedy! wink

The doc retired a few years ago from the business but…we march on with the fun!

Here is a cool site where we have gathered all his stuff. You may want to check it out. All the videos are really cool to watch!

So glad you could join us! We have not had many Russian soldiers here! We hope you will stick around and tell your friends..who knows maybe even start a division there someday? That would rock!cool

13/02/2014 at 05:57

Konbanwa mina-san! :33 Good evening everyone!

My name is Liam I am 19, soon to be 20. I love many things including art, tinkering, building/creating things, video games, anime/manga, animals, nature, etc. I’m an avid cosplayer and I go to cons all the time. I shall spread propaganda accordingly. Also I am a furry and my fursona’s name is Liulfur. He is a wolf/fox mix. I’m abit of a nerd and quite weird. :p I really enjoy making people laugh, lifting their spirits, and having fun all around.

I live in the northern Connecticut area, if there are any fellow soldiers around I’d love to know. :33

13/02/2014 at 15:51

Welcome, Liam! I’m sure you’ll fit right in, lots of anime lovers and builders here :) Oh and also, everyone here is weird. Weird is the spice of life!

13/02/2014 at 21:21

Yes, I myself am completely strange and unusual in almost every way…you see, this website is full of misfits, which is why this group plays so well together!  Welcome! smile

04/03/2014 at 12:26

Sgt. Panda reporting from Israel.

I am explicitly happy to see that Dr. Steel’s ideas live on.

I am a 27 y/o coder, silversmith and weirdo. Ukrainian in origin. Former sergeant in a no-fun army =( .

My name is Stas (Stanislav), but within this great project please call me Panda.

I love hypnotizing people into butter cookie abuse, writing silly stories, making scary stuff out of metal and spreading mild madness around.

Hope to have fun here.

04/03/2014 at 13:31

Welcome Sgt Panda to the world of randomness that is the Toy Soldiers Unite forums!

Please help yourself to some mind control cookies…I mean regular cookies, there’s no mind control in them at all!

(Totally covered my tracks there I think, they’ll never suspect a thing!)

05/03/2014 at 00:07

Welcome, Sgt. Panda! Don’t worry about those cookies :) And if you ever hear about secret ingrediet #57, forget about it.

02/05/2014 at 01:23

Salutations, one and all! Never fear, the Bosselot is here. I made my way here by way of a convoluted  series of links starting with The Vacuum Consortium. It’s good to be here and I’m looking forward to becoming a member of this fine community.

02/05/2014 at 21:10

Greetings and Welcome Bosselot! *hands you a cupcake*

Feel free to join in anywhere on our forums and let us know if you have any questions! laugh

I’m Captain Angstrom Darkwater, and I used a coupon for one free curse to bind my soul to a robot in order to reach the singularity. It’s not that exciting. Bit boring actually. I am located in Ohio, and I am a writer with a penchant for history and fantasy.

Welcome Captain!mrgreen

23/05/2014 at 08:43

Greetings fellow soldiers!

Times seem slim and tough lately but I recently rediscovered the army today.  Having been a follower of the doctor I have been isolated for some time now but we shall persevere and I with you!  After escaping my incarceration in a political jail (the vietnamese were not nearly as impressed with my work as I had hoped) I wish to turn my love and zeal for the cause to aid in spreading the message of a positive future.  To a better world and a toy for every man, woman, child, pet, and any other living thing you care to name.

12/06/2014 at 10:13

Hello my fellow comrades!

It is I, [The One and Only] Jellytehscout! I have been in this group for a while but I was shy to go to the forums to introduce myself. Now I am! My name is Justin, and I’m from a little city in the Orange County, La Habra. I’ve been a bit of a fan of Steel for nearly 5 years, and I found out about the Toy Soldier movement a year after I was introduced to his music. Since reading about what you guys are all about, I decided I wanted to be apart of this too! I don’t have many special talents, I will admit, but I do play a small variety of musical instruments, (and no, mayonnaise is not one of them!)

I’m 19, born and raised in the OC, and always up for making new acquaintences! I am also a member of the brony community so if any of you see stuff in relation to MLP, thats why! I wanted to be apart of this group because I wanted to be apart of something bigger, something that I’d feel comfortable in. I may not get to meet many of you, but those of you I do get to meet, I’ll be glad to have. I’m hoping to befriend you all, so be prepared! :P I will admit, I am a nervous person at first, so if I ever meet any of you in person, definitely come up to me and talk to me. (It really helps me get over my nervousness.)

Hope to see you in the field, everybody!

Welcome, Jelly!  Always good to have more Bronies around the army…and a musician too!  Fantastic!mrgreen

Salutations, greetings and otherwise, “‘Allo!”

Just landed from an inbound slingshot out of Edmonds in the fair state of Washington.

Have several friends who are soldiers and they seem to have a lot of fun, and I wanted to have fun too. Also, I was promised cookies….although bacon makes a good replacement too.

Am looking to get my uniform together still (am trying to incorporate my kilt into it somehow), and maybe make a few friends here as well as within my locale of Cascadia.

Anywho, that’s about it.

*end transmission*

15/06/2014 at 02:42

Several Soldiers have based uniforms around kilts.  That should be no issue.  Welcome to the group!  Cookies and bacon can be found in the kitchen, and I believe there are some bacon cookies, as well…

18/06/2014 at 20:28

*Large explosion from my profile and I smash through to here*

*I sit straight up*

And I love seeing these new soldiers, all coming together for the cause of fun, happiness, and cupcakes!!!!!

*Takes a cupcake out of a robot’s oven stomach and noms while walking through the code filled hole of website destruction* The Cod3Monkeys are NOT gonna be happy with me, that’s for sure!

Salutations, fellow Comrades in Arms, Comrades in Rubber Shoes, and Comrades in other Stuff.

I am Easterling, Doctor of Diesel Engines. I am from Azerbaijan, live there, in Ontario, Canada, and in California, US (I follow the weather patterns).

May your Engines make loud Noise!

24/06/2014 at 17:25

Greetings All, Tinkerer Dan here.

I’m an engineer based in jolly old England, living in Stafford or Chelmsford depending on the time of year. I recently found this site and decided to join up in order to spread a little fun and excitment around.

I can generally be found building something or other (normally model kits although occasionally I go a little bigger) or modding nerf guns. I also have a bad (or not depending on yyour perspective) habit of disassembling anything nearby when bored.

Over and out.

25/06/2014 at 06:06

Fantastic new specimens!  Welcome the both of you!bliss_gif

Probably the oldest here at 43, but strangely still feel 21.  The philosophy of life to me is that you’re too old when you say “I’m too old to do that!”

I have an attitude of press the button and see what it does, which has blown many a fuse, literally and metaphorically!

Sgt Voltor, I cant help but notice your uncanny resemblance to the great artist, Tom Savini!

First of all, welcome!  Second of all, I might be wrong, but I believe we have a couple members pushing 50…so, FOSSL just got a new member!  I will be joining you in three years time…I too am getting old and not growing up.  And good Lord!  I just looked up Tom Savini, and I do indeed bear a resemblance!eek

Hey. Emurtaugh here, also known as XaiViaX and That Guy. I just kinda popped in here to be here for the here being. I’m in the US Army, as my profile states, so I do stuff involving that. Any questions about the US Army feel free to ask. I have quite a few about this one.

Hello Emurtaugh, welcome to the best army in the world!

Feel free to ask any questions you need answering, don’t be shy :)

Brand new engineer reporting in. I’ve been a long time admirer of Dr. Steel and his message of having fun and reforming the world for such. Now that I’ve stumbled across this, I’d like to try and learn more about it and try to get involved in events and activities. I’m a big fan of metalworking and am trying to further my skills in it while dabbling a bit here and there in carpentry as well. Happy to be here!

OH BOY!  A future experi…um, I mean…uh, new engineer, yes that’s it…I have to keep reminding myself that engineers are NOT experiments…a difficult thing to remember…anyway, welcome!  What kind of metal work do you do?  I look forward to seeing your projects as a part of the FUN and CREATIVITY that is Toy Soldiers Unite!hae18

For now, just mild and stainless steel, I’m working really hard to try and work up the resources to fund my dream project, something I’ve been striving to do since I was a child. Blacksmithing. Not purely for the ability to make silly things like swords and whatnot, I just like the idea of bending one of the more resilient semi-natural resources to my will.

That being said though, I’m also working on working with aluminum through various forms of welding.

Welcome to the Army, happyhammer!

I am new here, but it is good to see that there are fellow welders/aspiring blacksmiths on the site. I also love metalworking, and I am actually just about to do some welding today with my oxyacetylene torch. I am also a bit of a steampunk, so my goggles serve a dual purpose. I dabble a bit in sewing, leather working, wood crafts, and other things that involve building stuff out of real materials. I have also made many plastic models (mostly Warhammer 40,000,  so nothing too difficult), and I took a lot of art classes in high school. One of them was an advanced class, which consisted of thinking of an idea for a project, doing the project, and repeating. It was basically like doing art in my spare time, but it was graded, and I got to use the materials in the classroom. Fun times!

Bonjour to you all! while not new to the ATS i am new to this current incarnation of TSU and this forum, after my hiatus I decided to lurk for a bit before salutations… it seems like there’s not a craycray amount of activity going on… so im not sure if anyone will see this right off, maybe the bunker’s being fumigated for tiny tapdancing cockroaches…. this would indicate that im currently breathing digital poison fumes at the moment… which may be why im seeing puce tigers playing poker over there…

31/08/2014 at 06:00

If the funny vapors are making you see puce tigers…GET OUT OF MY LABORATORY! sterb135

Otherwise, welcome back! mrgreen

Welcome back, and the bunker is far from deserted to the tapdancing cockroaches, although we gave them a nice room to practice their act in that tank over there!

You will not regret that decision.  I joined five years ago, and have not looked back.  Even Soldiers who have left the army still strive to spread FUN in their Utopian Playlands.  Welcome!mrgreen

Hello everyone, Im new here :)

My name is Lex and I live in London. I first heard of the Dr back when I was in school years ago but it wasn’t until recently I watched all the videos, listened to all his music I realised what an amazing talent he was what and a fantastic message he was spreading. I was so sad when I found out he retired and knew I had to join TSU to carry on the ideals and help build the Utopian Playland :D

I specialise graphic design and also have experience in photography, illustration and animation. I also love to make and modify stuff including clothes, toys and props, I will have a go at anything :)

This is actually the first forum I have ever joined and I have heard a lot of good things about the community here :D

We love the creative types around here :)

Will you be attending MCM Expo next weekend? A number of us (myself included) will be in attendance and we have our own booth too if you wanna come meet some of the Toy Soldiers irl :)

And may I say, you have chosen an excellent first forum to join XD

17/10/2014 at 19:15

Thank you! :D

Im planning on going to MCM on Sunday, will you be there then?

18/10/2014 at 00:16

A lot of us will be at expo, although we can’t promise we’ll be at the booth. You are coming on the Sunday so that might improve your chances significantly. We’d love to see you then!

If you haven’t bought your patches yet, that would be an excellent time. We always have som
