Toymas is upon us!

And now is the time to start thinking up ideas, get those creative heads working and to send in your address so that we can all spam you with Toymas cards.
Or actual spam, if that is what you prefer… Not judging… Just saying…

To directly quote Commander Jet’s post last year:

Everyone is encouraged to participate! It doesn’t matter what holiday you celebrate, this is just a great/inexpensive excuse to bring a fellow soldier holiday cheer! So please consider joining in on this fun yearly event!

You can make cards, buy cards, include stickers or homemade things that will fit in an envelope..it’s up to you! Be creative!

And don’t forget to send the data asked below to [email protected] (Subject: Santa’s little helper) before Monday, December 5th.

  • Real and Toy soldier name (Real name so that the cards will get to you; Toy soldier name so that everyone knows who you are.)
  • Email address for the participants list (Optional; I get one email address per participant either way.)
  • Full address (You know, including house number, street, city and country; The whole shabang!)

You will receive the complete list on Wednesday, December 7th and from there on it’s your task to make sure your cards are sent out on time :D

WARNING: As this is a public sub-forum, please follow the instructions and do not post your personal details as a comment below.
This will prevent loads of bricks being shipped to your front door.

Any questions?
Feel free to poke me through the comments below.

Disclaimer: Hijacking the Toymas Card Exchange has been done with permission from commander Jet, as she is unable to do it herself this year.

You put them for sale in the Armour, limited edition TSU bricks, with 30% of the proceeds going to charity.

Problem solved.

I second this.

I’ll start cutting some potato stamps of our logo to stamp the bricks with, to give them that truly unique limited edition feel.

If I can’t afford postage for all of the cards, are there any alternative sending methods? My mum just wanted me to ask just in case ^_^

Last year I just sent to as many people as I could manage rather than freaking out. It means people still get cards and takes the pressure of everybody being expected to send to everyone.

Don’t worry. I’miss not expecting everyone to send a card to everyone on the list. it’s a know thing that finances among soldiers is at an all time low in December ;)

Feel free to post them to as many as you can. And be sure to send out a digital one to all of them!

There is actually a man in Scotland who collects bricks and knows a scary amount about the history of the different manufacturers, the means of production, the quality of materials and the standard sizes and indentations over the years. He was on BBC Radio Scotland one morning while I was on my commute.
