Previous, present and future missions.
Post things you’ve done, things you’re doing and things you want to do to help premote SOS and TSU. -
I’m currently building an SOS website seperate from TSU that once launched, I hope will become a good propaganda tool to attract new people here to the TSU site.
It’s going to be alot of hard word but I will keep you all updated on how it is coming along.
If any of you would like to write content for the site, the help would be hugely appreciated and will mean the site can be launched quicker. -
Update:
I’ve decided to launch it now with only the 2 pages so far so that you guys can have a look at what I’ve been working on.
Only the home page, tinder and links to TSU are working atm but I’d love to get your feedback on layout, design etc.

I like this site. It’s simple and everything is broken down in categories that work without having to go hunting through a load of information.

I’m loving it, Lill! Honestly great work, I know how much effort you’ve put into it.
Once I’ve gotten a bit of free time, I’d like to write up an article on what could be a prelude to a BDPE, which would be if the internet goes horribly wrong and things like ACTA, SOPA and PIPA become draconian.
Basically, long distance communications and information sharing in a pre/post-apoc world, including the basics of ham radio, walkie talkies, and such. Yeah, I’m still very tech focused, but that’s because there’s tons of info already available on ‘standard’ post apoc communications. -
It very eye catching and full of potential (looks for the “like” button) lol

I have a script for a facebook like button but I want to understand the code before I put it on the site. Also didn’t know whether I should add it or not.

Also, trying to make the menu as logical as possible so everything is where people would first think to look for it.
Another idea I’ve had is to make printer friendly pages so that people can print hard copies of the content to store for reference incase of mass electrical failure etc. -
A bit late to ask i’m sure because ticket sales are hell and time is running out (plus most people dont have money to spare) but is anyone planning on going to or would like to go to Burning Man this year?? I went last year and I was able to hand out tons of stickers and pamphlets and inform lots of people who simply loved the ideals that us toy soldiers share as well as put into effect all of the survival skills that i’ve learned.

Dark: Where did you camp last year? I was at 8;30 D. Still waiting to see if I got tickets or not, but planning on going with a group of at least seven this year. Burning Man is fun as it truly is a SOS training ground (Survive for a week in the desert and actually have a fun time doing so ;])
Wow so close, I was at the corner closest to center camp at 7:30 and D!! it’s the best spot because it’s riiight near the bathrooms and it only sort of smells when they’re cleaning them out… but amazing spot, it gets tons of publicity because everyone’s always looking for a bathroom. Right now I don’t have a ticket due to having no money, and i’m horrified that i won’t make it this year because of not only not having money but because I don’t have a ride and I don’t have someone to camp with. I found a rideshare last minute last year and didn’t really camp in one spot so much as keeping my stuff in the dude’s car that I showed up with and carrying my blanket and pillow everywhere <3

Can Labels for the LLC-16 Ration Pack:
(An older design that I worked on with Mr Fritz)- The proper size labels are scaled to wrap around an average 16oz can.

Got a mission in the pipeline for late June. A group of soldiers, including myself, are heading to the Mournes for five days of camping during which we’ll hopefully be planting a TSU flag though that’s only if we can get one printed. If anyone would like to come along, feel free. Just message me and I’ll give you the details as they’re sorted.
