Our annual Gaming Mammoth has a set date now, and we hope that as every year, many of you will support us!

Soon we will open a poll to vote on this year’s charity, and link you to a form where you can sign up for streaming.

And don’t forget to like and share!

Mammoth Partner unlocked: Frontier Developments

Teaming up with us for their third year in a row, it’s Frontier Developments.
Providing us with Planet Coaster and Elite Dangerous to give away during the event.

And don’t forget, we will actually be playing the games that we give away, so what you see is what you get!

A bit about the games

The highly acclaimed Planet Coaster gives players limitless freedom to build rides and scenery piece by piece, with advanced management simulation gameplay and a connected global village where everyone can share in the creativity of players around the world. Released late 2016, the BAFTA-nominated Planet Coaster quickly became one of the top selling PC titles of the year.

Released in December 2014, the BAFTA-nominated Elite Dangerous is the definitive, massively multiplayer space epic, and was Frontier’s first self-published triple-A game. Players take control of their own starship and can fight, explore and travel throughout an expansive cutthroat galaxy. With 400 Billion star systems and an ever-evolving narrative, players can choose to play alone or take part in a remarkable multiplayer experience.

Mammoth Partner unlocked: Mohawk Games

Teaming up with us for their first year, it’s Mohawk games.
Providing us with Offworld Trading Company to give away during the event.

And don’t forget, we will actually be playing the games that we give away, so what you see is what you get!

A bit about the game

Mohawk Game’s first title, Offworld Trading Company, is a real-time strategy game in which money, not military force, is your true weapon. You must stake your claim to secure resources, then extract and develop them into goods that are used for advanced buildings and upgrades. You win not by destroying your opponents, but by buying them out.

We are hard at work continuing to expand the scope of Offworld as well as exploring new game designs.

We need you – to vote!

Good day, fellow Toy Soldiers!

As it has become customary each year, we again need your opinion on this year’s Gaming Mammoth. We have carefully picked three charities for you to choose from. Please, leave your vote below within the week.

And those are the charities you can pick from:

Unbound is an organisation that focuses on children and families living in poverty all around the world. Their approach is to not simply send money to people in need, but to lift people out of poverty with the help of the community and their social workers, to give them hope and a future.

With ~7% their overhead is quite small.

The BBR Foundation focuses on mental health research, including depression, anxiety, autism and a lot more. They are committed to alleviating the suffering caused by mental illness by awarding grants that will lead to advances and breakthroughs in scientific research.

With ~8% their overhead is also quite small.

A little Thank You

The Mammoth Team says Thank you

I just wanted to leave a little Thank You here. The Gaming Mammoth, once again, was successful. We had lots of fun, made new friends and collected money for a good cause. Even though we did not reach our goal. This is not about numbers or our ego. The ambition is to help people, and we certainly did.

Currently, we are getting all things sorted, winners get picked and emailed and mystery packages get packed.

Thank you crafters, planners, streamers, sponsors, sharers, carers, viewers, everyone who went a little bit out of their way for us. You people are what makes this event so awesome. You are making a change in this world.

P.S.: Our Gaming Mammoth shop will remain open, and profits from that will continue to be donated to Mind, so be sure to check it out

The Gaming Mammoth: Updates!

The Gaming Mammoth

It is about time we give you some updates on the Gaming Mammoth. We have had a lot to do and went above and beyond this year to create a new website, professional promotion material and reach out to many, many supporters.

So far, we have already collected more than $1100 worth of donations and giveaways from our sponsors in game keys and merchandise. But we also contributed self-made things. The amount of time we invested in the preparations has grown bigger, and so did our Mammoth. We’re even in talks for our own merchandise shop this year, where you’ll be able to buy awesome Gaming Mammoth shirts and therefore donate in a new way. So, you see, the tiny Mammoth is not so small anymore.

We’ll soon reach out to you to see how many of you want to participate and actively join our gaming and streaming. We hope for as much support as possible. It is not just the cool giveaways and generous companies that sponsor us that make our Gaming Mammoth great – It’s the fact that you guys join us each year and we have fun together.
Everyone of you counts, streaming or not.

For anyone ready to spread the word, I have uploaded image files for flyers, web banners and more.

Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope to see you soon on my list of gamers. ;-)
