Great news!
I no longer have full responsibility by myself :D
Though, I never had full responsibility by myself… TSU has always been a community project…
That being mentioned, I’d like to welkom Lt. Sophie to the rank of administrator.
This is something that I have been thinking about for a while now, and thankfully, Lt. Sophie has proven herself (though, she did not know it).
During everything regarding the mammoth, and during the many holidays that I’ve had since I took over the banhammer from Sgt. Dutch, she’s been around to take over from me.
Helping me out with blog posts, emails, images or just her weird sense of humor.
Things, big and small, that really took some weight off of my shoulders.
Because, let’s face it, I’m not the strongest one when it comes to writing blog posts or motivating others to write.
Let alone to keep a steady stream of content going on through the website or the many social media channels (make sure to follow all of them!).
Her drive to keep people involved in the creative challenges that lie ahead for the TSU, is what confirmed for me that she would make a great admin.
It also gives me the room to go back to the deeper depths of the TSU and work on the technical improvements.
As well as work on the larger vision for the TSU, and focus more on the legal and financial stuff.
Knowing that content will be in good hands :)
Some of the older members might experience a slight déjà vu moment with this sharing of responsibility.
As it is quite similar to what Sgt. Dutch and Commander Jet used to do back in the day.
And I would like to believe that it’s a formula that really works well!
This does not mean that it’s Lt. Sophie and me vs. all of you!
TSU keeps running with a few members at it’s core, that all share a bit of responsibility in making sure that the TSU is a place where everyone can feel at home and have fun.
We discuss ideas and suggestions within this group, and make sure that it falls within the greater vision for the TSU.
So with this, I also want to thank Rev. Geoff, Trigo and Iron, for their continuous support and great feedback!
If it wasn’t for you lot, I would have gone mad ;)
Woo! Congrats to Lt. Sophie! I’m glad her contributions are being recognized in such a major way! :D
Congratulations on your promotion. Commiseration on the added workload. :P
