TS Unit 112 and members of sub-division #487, North Texas were in for a surprise when they invaded Animefest 2009 on September 5th! The success of their previous invasions preceded them as numerous convention-goers immediately recognized the Soldiers, their robots, and confirmed that they had already receieved (and still had) propaganda and DVDs from previous invasions! Of course, there was no shortage of new faces in attendance who were quick to deplete the Soldier’s propaganda supply (with the help of previously brainwashed patrons!), but the invasion force was delighted by the recognition that they received.
Many long chats about Dr. Steel and his vision for a Utopian Playland were had at the festival and high spirits were shared between the Toy Soldiers and their “victims”. By days end, propaganda coffers were bare, the robots were showing signs of malfunction, and the day was ended with new friends and old recounting the events of festivals past and those to come!
