On the 21st of November 2009, Toy Soldiers successfully invaded Wargames Association of Reading’s annual Warfare show! The show was reportedly quieter than the invasion force expected, but flashing-eyed Dr. Steel placards and spiffy outfits were quick to attract the attention of event-goers and cameras alike! The invaders were even asked to pose for photos for the trade publication, and got to meet a high ranking member of the Monster-Raving-Loony-Party! Toy Soldiers were excited by the amount of recognition that they received and noted the comment from “a wig-wearing Vicar with a secret Steampunk Hobby” who reportedly spotted Toy Soldiers at a recent performance by steampunk airship pirates! …yes, that means we are getting the word out, Soldiers, and hats off to everyone for doing so!

Later in the day, Toy Soldiers marched on Reading Town Centre, despite unsavory weather. By the end of the invasion, a truck load of propaganda had been distributed, fun was had by all, and attending Soldiers (Monte, Sir Jack of Blades, and DarkLordofDevon) had more than proved their mettle in the field! Good show and cheers to a Utopian Playland!
