On December 1st, TSU-UK Soldiers invaded the Oxford Museum of the History of Science as it presented the world’s first exhibition of Steampunk art. “Imagine the technology of today with the aesthetic of Victorian science. From redesigned practical items to fantastical contraptions, this exhibition, curated by Art Donovan, showcases the work of eighteen Steampunk artists from across the globe."
Soldiers stormed the City Centre throughout the day distributing propaganda and waving their lazer-eyed Dr. Steel placards. They also visited the "Exhibition" where they reportedly caused quite a stir! Toy Soldiers also paid a visit to the "Games Workshop" to spread the word, although the reception at this location was noted as being "a little frosty".
As an added bonus, the Army was filmed by a TV crew concerning Doctor Steel’s views on Nuclear Energy. Captain Dutch Barracuda, Steelian-ambassador, engaged in a very smooth and poignant interview; if anyone finds a link or any other evidence of the airing of this interview, please let us know!
A special thanks from attending Toy Soldiers to Lillium Grey and Sir Jack of Blades for putting this invasion together!
