“On the afternoon of the 18th February soldiers from around the country gathered in the Victoria pub on Brighton Pier for one reason! Invasion and fun, okay two reasons. And drink…three reasons.

Despite the harsh wintery conditions the soldiers proceeded along the pier to spread fun and mischief to the citizens of Brighton. Arcades games were mastered by Grimm, all food was consumed by Blades and the rain was kept at bay by myself, until it started to rain. Which had nothing to do with Morglum calling for three cheers to celebrate the fact that it wasn’t raining. Anyway, once the heavens opened there was but one course of action, to the rides! the ghost house was particularly …erm… interesting, while the waltzers were amazingly …erm… spinny. No soldier was overcome with the desire to spread chunks, but some came close…ie…Morglum.

A competition was active during the day which included a Brian Blessed impersonation, dramatic pose and a 10 second talent contest. the overall winner was Lt Grimm who was awarded a clockwork tin toy soldier whom she will now have to name. It was also Lt Grimms birthday which was toasted later in the pub with happy birthday sung in English, Welsh and Spanish! Wowza!

Highlights of the day were, Morglum almost poking CBM’s eye out with his Flag, almost losing his hat over the pier but it was saved by a diving catch by JDUK (dramatised for effect ) and watching Jack of Blades impersonation of a Koala Bear by eating his own body weight in snacks. Prop was distributed across the coast and more then one person said “How great our outfits were”. Also they managed to meet up with a long lost soldier who on hearing that the army was still going resolved to re-enlist into the collective. A smashing invasion which would only of been improved by the sun turning up.”

TheAtomicSoul was nominated for a very special piece of propaganda he desiged. Toy Soldiers and Robots that can be made in plastic on a 3D Printer such as a Makerbot or RepRap!

Thanks to TheAtomicSoul’s work, we can now start printing off our own armies, OUR OWN TOYS!!! Already there has been a flood of enquiries on how to construct these wonderful 3D printers so check out RepRap for more info, and you can find links to his wonderful creations here.

Robots to help take over the world and create a Utopian Playland.

Time has now come for us to manifest our dreams into a reality. Or should we say, PRINT our dreams into reality? Thanks to TheAtomicSoul we now have both Toy Soldiers and Robots that can be printed on a 3D Printer.

The 3D designs for the Robot and Toy Soldier are freely available on the Thingiverse website, which hosts hundreds of thousands of downloadable and printable items.

It wasn’t long before the first Toy Soldier was printed off by Dark with the help of his friend ER3 Designs, and showed it to the rest of us.

Already adjustments are being made to the models to increase details on the final print. We’re eagerly awaiting for a completed Robot to be constructed.

There are also suggestions being flown about of expanding the merchandise at the Toy Soldier shop.

Commander JET was nominated for TSOTW for sharing her recent communication from Dr. Steel with the Army of Toy Soldiers. Though she didn’t need to, she felt it was her duty to provide us all with the letter that Dr. Steel had sent her, explaining his reasons for retiring from the entertainment industry.

Though it was sad news, thanks to Commander JET, we can all finally feel a sense of closure, and focus on our own mission of creativity and fun.

If you know a Toy Soldier who deserves to be recognized for a recent accomplishment, mission, or invasion, or has gone beyond the call of duty, nominate them in the TSOTW thread

The reason for his nomination is dubious and infamous, for it was during an outing of the RAVE division to the Anti-Christ club (a well known club in London) that Sean allowed himself to be subjugated to some impressive whipping, cheered on by his comrades.

Though photos and videos are not permitted at the club, we are told that instead of cowering, Sean held strong to his courage, and in fact shouted to the one whipping (TS Libra) “Come on! Harder!”

An innocent bystander (Also known as Brigadier Davies) was quoted as saying “Bwahahahahahaha!” and later when elaborating upon the night “He stood there and took it like a man…. or a large mythical sea serpent.”

THEY’RE BACK!

After a longer wait than we had wished for, the Toy Soldier shoulder patches are back in stock! We heard your demand for them, and here they are.

As you can see, they’ve had a slight change in design, but nothing significant, and we’ve hopefully made sure they are as high a quality as the ones World Domination Toys used to sell.

When you buy patches, you’re not only getting something that’ll look awesome on your jacket, shirt, bag, or where ever, but you’re also helping us keep the website running and pay the server. No one makes a profit on this.

We’ve ordered in 50 pairs of patches, and before we sell out, we’ll order more! Of course, if we do sell out, we’ll be getting more merchandise to add to the shop.
Depending on where you live, you’re order will either be dispatched from the US or from the UK. This way, we’re hoping to keep the price down for postage, and the delivery time short.

All orders from this weekend will be sent out first thing Monday morning, and if we think we’re going to run out, we’ll give you fair warning.
